Chapter One

Alexander's POV

The buzzing noise of my alarm woke me up from my reverie slumber. I covered myself with the duvet and continued to sleep. My amazingly annoying brother Adrian bugged into my room,ohh shit!! I forget to lock my door last night. When Adrian opened the curtains, the feeble light rays of the sun hit my face as it slipped through the drawn curtains . He didn't stop from there, he then removed my duvet that I used to cover my face . Oh God!! this boy is annoying. I was in high school tho, specifically in my second year. So I had to get ready for school.

I got up and went to my bath house to wash down and brush. When I heard someone yelling my name Alex!!!!!. Its my mom, she does that when I am in trouble or did something wrong.

So I came out and saw her in my room packing my stuffs for school. Am a boarder too. She started shouting and nagging about when i will be done packing and ready for school. She didn't want me running late on my first day. I told her not to worry I'll be done in a jiffy. My mom is the over reactive, exaggerating, superstitious, protective and caring type of mom. She then told me breakfast is being served, so I should hurry up.

I got out of my room to the dinning
Hall to see my elder brothers and my mom, we were having pineapple juice with toasted bread and eggs, which was my favorite .
I then saw my mom glare at me. I wonder what she is thinking. Then she said she was going to miss me, Adrian chuckled during which he was fidgeting with his phone.
Pardon my manners I didn't introduce myself and my family as well ;
Okay, so I am Alexander Barnes Osei. I have two older brothers and they are Nathaniel and Adrian Barnes Osei. So Nathaniel is tall , brown skin and has a faded haircut. He's that quiet and shy type which I think he is a bad ass low key low key. I don't trust him tho. So for Adrian I think you have already met him, that annoying brother of mine. He is also brown skin, tall with dark brown seductive eyes with a well built body. Men, I envy my brother's well built body. Adrian has rock hard abs and usually works out often. He has a neatly kept Afro with both sides faded. He seems to be the daring and baddest amongst all of us . I still wonder how is able to keep up with his grades though with all his play boy attitude though. Adrian is extremely brilliant and has won a lot of trophies for his school, not that the rest of us are not good, we equally as good as Adrian. Mom , I won't say much about her, she is a single parent and an entrepreneur who is really hardworking .I'll say my is actually a workaholic who has enough time for her sons. She owns a traveling and tour agency which puts her amongst the biggest sharks in Ghana.

I finished with my breakfast and went to my room to get my stuff for school . I am a student of labone Senior High School. My bags and stuffs were packed into the car by our house help.

I entered into the new car my mom bought recently, it was an Escalade a 2020 model. Hoping to see the driver, it turn out to be that annoying brother Adrian seating in the drivers seat. Oh no he is the one driving. I sighed and hit my hand on my forehead. I was excited though not that he was driving but i was going to school to meet my friends and also to see my crush "Akua".

Mirabel Akua Mensah is her name. Akua is an half cast, her mom is from Wales and her dad is a Ghanaian. She has this beautiful round and cute face like a baby, she has a long and curly hair with pink lips that will attract any guy to kiss her. She is well endowed. Actually , we are in the same class but we have never spoken to each other before.

Finally we got to the school(I mean my family and I) , My brother and I removed my bags and stuffs from the car and my mom and I walked to my house master's office.

Good Afternoon sir, I greeted
Yeah How are you Alex, he asked
Am good by God's grace, I responded with a broad smile on my face. My house master liked me very much but for me I knew it was because my mom was always tipping him that's why he took keen interest in me . I paid my house dues and was leaving his office, when I bumped into Akua, I prefer her indigenous name to Mirabel. My heart skipped a beat, I didn't even know what to say, I was drooling over her, there were a whole lot of words running in mind currently from I adore you to I want you to be my girlfriend.

Sorry. I'm really sorry, she said
Oh no I am the one suppose to be apologizing because I bumped into you
Am sorry. I said
Don't worry. She sighed and left.

OMG!!! I finally spoke to her.
Who was that, mom asked
My classmate, I replied, okay
Why is Alex smiling like he has been given the whole world as a birthday gift , Adrian asked mom when we were approaching the car.
Why is it a sin for me to smile, I answered him with a frown on my face. Trust my brother is good at changing my mood.

My mom just chuckled at the little banter my brother and I had.
They said their goodbyes and as for mom she was hugging tightly as if it was my last day on earth which made me feel like a baby. Meanwhile, that idiot a brother of mine was hitting on one of the ladies in my class.

Stop mom you are creating a scene , I told her.
She did not mind but rather hugged me more.

They left and I went into the dormitory
To change and have some rest.
I was waiting for my friends to report.
