Chapter Five.

Hello everyone, hope you enjoy this chapter just like I did😉😉💓😍😘

I got to the school premises very early this morning, it was a bright Monday morning. It has been a week since that incident happened in Kimberly's classroom. I have been avoiding her  since then. I still haven't been able to identify the person who took the picture and I am hyperventilated about it, I can't afford for this to ruin my reputation in school.

Camille and I have being preparing intensely for the prelims of the NMSQ, she is still bitchy and  I don't think we can work together not even POV
heaven kisses the earth. I was strolling around the school premises with Aubrey the head girl to ensure that  all the grounds work are done before heading to class.

Aubrey is bright student but is in the general arts department, she is well spoken,  confident and pretty and she also doubles as my S. R. C (Student Representative Council) vice president. We had a lot of things going on like planning for annual S. R. C week celebration.

We wanted to outshine Labone Senior High School this year, my younger brother's school. Speaking of the devil,  his school is supposed to be here for the prelims of the NMSQ. We will be going to Odorgonor Senior High School for ours today. I just remembered that our bus is set to leave at nine this morning and it was already forty - five minutes pass eight.

.               ALEXANDER'S POV

Today is a bright Monday morning with the sun high in the sky. I was preparing for school this morning. I was neatly dressed in my schools uniform ready for the prelims of the National Mathematics and Science Quiz at Achimota Senior High School.

Its been a week since my little incident with Akua happened and we were selected with some form two's to go and witness the quiz at my brother's school since we were in our second year.

The school bus was set to leave at eight to our destination. I was so excited because I was going to see my dickhead of a brother. Don't get me wrong ☺, I miss him a lot. I saw Akua this morning and she was looking 😯wooow. If words could describe how pretty she was looking, I would have described her to you.

But I didn't  want to talk to her because she embarrassed me  at the canteen the other day , she made me look like a fool in front of everyone.

The bus was ready to go, I entered the bus and there was only one one seat left which was beside Akua. No one wanted to switch seats with me , so  I had no option than to sit with her or get another seat.

Hey Alexander!!, Are you seating down or what, My teacher yelled at me😡. 
I sat beside her.
Our teacher prayed before the bus took off.
In the bus I was feeling bored and turn to look back to see the boys chanting songs of "Jama"
How I wish I was at the back with them.

I heard someone call me and I turn  to look
It was Akua's friend Nicole

"Hey Darlington , why are you quiet??
You seems not to be okay."
Am okay, giving her a fake smile.

I was quiet for while in the bus, until I turn again to see Belinda sitting  with  my female bestie Hamdiyya,Hamdiyya is more like a sister, she worries me a lot. But she is cute and  pretty . I then swap seat with Belinda and went to sit with Hamdiyya.

Bestie what's up, looking  at her smiling
Am good You?? , she chuckled.
Good too, I said.
Hey, I know you came here to sit  with me because you are not feeling  comfortable  with  Akua and because of last week's incident. She turned and looked at me
I then sat on the seat well and relaxed on it.

Yeah, I sighed
I knew it, I heard  about what happened, I think you should let it go and talk to her, she said.
She was the only one who could talk things through  to me and I will adhere to  her.

I sighed again, I will think about it.
No  if you don't  talk to her  today, I won't  talk to  you, she said looking some where  else.
Okay okay I will  try, okay
She turned and gave me a smile.
Let talk about another thing, giving  her a smile

AKUA'S  POV

The bus was full but the was a seat beside me for one person. I saw Alexander
standing  there, It seems he was looking for another  seat. Our teacher then  yelled at him to sit down. He sat beside me. He didn't  even  say hi. He sat down and didn't  look at me  nor even Nicole. He was quiet and  at most  times he looks at the back .  I could sense he was not comfortable.

I think he wanted  to go and sit at the back. I made him feel uncomfortable  because of what happened  the other time but I don't care.  I told him not to look at me. So am sure that why he didn't look at me or Nicole.
Nicole then asked him

Hey Darlington , Why are  you quiet??
You seem not to be okay.
Am okay, giving her a smile. I knew it was a fake smile.

We haven't  spoken for a week now. It was normal for me because we don't  talk to each other that  much. But I don't know,since the incident happened  whenever  I see him,I feel very bad ,maybe, because I feel guilty  for what I did. Besides why should I be feeling guilty, I was not at fault.

My friends told me to apologize  but the was no way I was going to talk to him first and let him have the upper hand.  Hell no.

I saw that he got up and left to Belinda's  seat to sit with Hamdiyya,his so called bestie, hmmm, Belinda came to sit with us.

'Hey girls, what's up '
Nicole looked surprised because Alexander was not sitting beside us.

Where is he, she asked

He swapped seats with me

Why, I don't get it, Nicole asked again

He doesn't  feel comfortable  sitting beside  her, she said looking at me

Who??,  I asked looking  at her

You of course, its  high time you go and apologize  to him. You should feel guilty  right now

Of what, why should I feel bad. He shouldn't  have bored holes in me with his constant staring. 

But girl you went too far, to the extent  of you spilling cold water on his face and also slapping him, Nicole stated
With Belinda  supporting her.

Hey, please don't  make me the bad person  her please.
Hey, you better apologize  or, they both yelled at me.

Or what, I asked them
We ain't gonna talk to you. They said

Oh no, You are bluffing.

Yes we won't talk to you, they blurted  again.
Ah, because of this guy, my friends are going to be at loggerheads  with me. Hell no. I won't   apologize they just bluffing.  Talking to my subconscious.
We were all quiet and I decided  to bring something  up for us talk about
But they really  ignored me. I was surprised.

Okay!! Okay!!,I will apologize  but not today, I said
No today, In fact  before the day is over 
Oh no I can't, I yell

Then forget, we ain't  talking  to you

Okay okay, I will
Are you happy now

Hmmm, yes they smiled at me and gave me a big hug.
We got to the school.
