this is just a bull crap theory i came up with last night at 3 am.
What if Touya ran away and became a vigilante?
Like, he hunted down abusers, rapists and other people who weren't punished by the justice system (like they got no sentence or an extremely light one) and beat them up. He was especially hateful toward the child abusers. He responsible for getting 50+ children out of abusive homes. I feel like he would always have extreme hatred towards Endeavor and imagined the people he went after as him.
(at one point he even went after Fuyumi's boyfriend because Touya saw bruises on her. that was the first person he killed)
As he got older his methods slowly turned more villainous and once he heard about Stain he finally turned into a full on villain. But he never stopped rescuing those children. His reasoning was:
"The world doesn't need another one of me."
I honestly really like the idea that Dabi was at one point a vigilante. I spend a lot of my time these day's reading theory and AU's on Tumblr.
