Seer

this is a remake of a previous one shot I wrote called mental quirk 101. it's not a part two but i like it way more than the original. it's more in depth and i actually developed the teacher WAY more than before. Enjoy!

When the students of class 3A entered the new teachers classroom, it would be a lie if I said they weren't a little bit intimidated. As soon as they entered they were greeted by woman sitting at a desk with a mask completely covering her eye area. She's typing on a computer and quickly looks up and gives the students a small smile.

The woman herself has long navy blue hair pulled into two french braids and large dangle earrings. She's wearing a white shirt and navy blue pants that match her hair perfectly.

"Feel free to sit wherever you want. I'll begin once everyone's seated." She says before continuing to type on her computer. She glances up every once and awhile to see if everyone is there and once she's positive everyone is she closes the computer and walks to a whiteboard in the front of the room. She grabs a marker and writes Mental Quirks 101.

"Welcome to Mental Quirk 101 or as I like to call it, how not to get your ass kicked by villains that mess with your head. Lengthy I know but the name really gets the point across. Anyways I better introduce myself. I'm pro hero Seer. My quirk is projection. If I make eye contact with someone I can project their memories. Doing so stuns both them and me. No I will not be giving a demonstration today. Any questions?"

Hands soar into the air and the teacher grins internally. Off to a great start.

"You there, shark boy. Oh and tell me your names while you're at it."

"Kirishima. Is your quirk why you wear the mask?"

"Yes it is. There were a lot of incidents when I was a kid so the mask just became a vital part of my life that I never grew out of. Ummm....pink girl."

"I'm Mina! What's your craziest hero story?"

Seer gives the class a (slightly) terrifying look starts telling a story.

"Well you are all third years and probably know about all the inappropriate stuff so this won't be so bad to tell. A few years ago when I was working with a small agency in the Northeast part of the US. There was a villain going batshit crazy using an unknown quirk on people. Another hero from the my agency I had never met and I went after them after they took another agency hostage. Well, we quickly figured out the villains quirk." Seer starts giggling at this part of the story and the class practically goes crazy with curiosity.

"Turns out the villain had an aphrodisiac quirk. People were fucking on the desks, break room counters, tables, the floor, and my god was it hilarious. Until the villain got me and the other hero I was with. Soon we were part of the people fucking on the floor. Keep in mind, I had never met this woman before today and now we were fucking due to a villains quirk. Anyway, that's how I met my wife."

The entire class is silent as the story finishes before bursting with uncontrollable laughter. The class
continues to ask the new teacher more questions until class ends.

(That day when Seer's wife asks her how class was, the teacher only says.

"I told them how we met honey."

The other woman promptly spits out her tea.)

The next day is almost a complete 180 from the previous day. As son as everyone is seated Seer goes to the front of the classroom again.

"Lesson one. Never underestimate a villain just because their quirk isn't physical. More often than not if a villain has a mental quirk it will definitely screw with your head. You'll have absolutely no defense against it. This class will help you learn how to fight of such quirks and what to do if you encounter a villain with a mind quirk. Today you'll research recent cases of this sort of thing happening to pro heroes and writing a short paper on how it could have been handled better."
