The unspoken agreement that Namjoon and I have basically pulled out of our asses is insane. Once I finished the job of masturbating and getting myself cleaned up, I began cooking. Namjoon used the time that I was cooking to get the kids ready for the day after he finished as well. We ate and conversed like normal, as if we weren't milliseconds away from fucking each others brains out a little while ago. Not to mention, he decided to swear gray sweatpants today. But I will not think about it. I have self control. We truly deserve Oscars for a job well done.

"Daddy?" Jin starts, looking at Namjoon. "Why didn't we go to school today?"

Namjoon and I both look at each other with wide eyes. I could've sworn today was Saturday. We both rush to stand and head into the direction of the kid's rooms to grab their backpacks and supplies.

"Goddammit, today is Friday. Isn't it?" Namjoon chuckles, rushing back into the kitchen after me.

I return the laughter, shaking my head and quickly putting Jin's hair into pigtails and braiding them. "We had quite an interesting night. I honestly thought it was the weekend."

"This is why I don't drink during the week." He mumbled to himself.

Jin and Jae both sit in their seats, laughing hysterically as they watch us rush to get them set for school.

"I know this is funny, but you've got half a day left." I huff. "Come on, let's go."

"We don't gotta go!" Jae laughs. "No school today."

"What?"

"April fools!" Both kids shout and Namjoon and I pause our movements.

I snatch my phone from my pocket and, sure enough, the date on the phone says Saturday, April 1st. I can't hide my amusement as I give both kids high fives. "You got us. That was really good."

The kids have the biggest smiles on their faces as they see Namjoon plop back into his seat, laughing so hard that his dimples are present and his eyes are squinted almost completely shut. My heart is warm and fuzzy as I watch him genuinely laugh. With all the negative in his life, his kids manage to once again be a huge positive.

"Jinnie, you genius." He continues to laugh, high fiving his kids as well. "That was the best prank ever. I know you are the mastermind. Are you sure you're only 7?"

"And a half, daddy!" She points out. "'And a half' is important."

"You're right, honey. 7 and a half, even though your birthday is in 2 and a half weeks."

"Can I have a party?"

"What kind of party? Harly could probably come up with a cool party idea with you."

She looks at me and nods excitedly. "Can I have a princess sleepover?"

I look toward Namjoon and he nods. "Princess sleepover it is."

"Thank you, thank you!" She hops from her seat and engulfs Namjoon in a big hug before sitting and finishing her food.

Everyone in this house is in high spirits today and it makes me very happy. The kids are in an awesome mood, Namjoon is happy, and in turn, that makes me happy. There's a knock on the door that distracts me and I find myself going to open the door. I'm met with a beautiful man, almost too beautiful to be real and he's reaching out to give me a hug as I return the smile he's giving me.

"It's so nice to see you again, Harlow."

I wrap my arms around the man, smiling as I take in the friendly gesture. "It's so good to see you too. When did you get in town?"
