Chapter 4- The President

     '' Dad are you goin to work for the president?'' Lea asked. '' It depends love after you coming into my life things have to start going differently. You have two rich grand parents, a aunt who I  have not  talked to for months. They all live in The big city'' Nicholas said '' i want to go meet them Dad i want to get to know them.'' she replied.  '' Then we are moving to Dar ;; he replied. '' but first we need to go to school and officially transfer you'' he added. '' well what are we waiting for then .'' '' well some things must be done by them i mean the government they have to do that ,us we just enjoy the new year'' '' by the way when is your birthday?'' '' i thought you digged everything, so there are some things you don't know about me?'' '' Yes i found alot but then you hide other things very well'' '' it is this month dear, just around the corner''  '' Tell me tell me when, please'' she begged her father to tell her but he denied and told her to find it her self she is smart enough to figure it out. Nicholas and his daughter spent alot of time together, they did alot of staff together too , they were happy that they met earlier in life before it was too late for them to bond over father and daughter moment. Since last December they enjoyed every minute they though they never had and it was new year it meant school was soon beginning and times will be abit different, with Nicholas working for the president. They promised to have each other whenever things got out of hand and they should have each others backs.

        As new year came the president ad her state chief were very busy with her inauguration speech and ceremony, she did want to send a message to people. A new beginning of a better nation full of promise. Sophia wanted her to rest and take a moment to breath and just let each and every one in her office do their jobs and not the other way round because it drove people crazy.'' you should relax  madam president all these people were chosen to help you run the country. You don't have to do it alone. You have me and your staff we wil be great.'' she talked, '' I guess you are right i have been off balance and doing peoples jobs for them and have not even been an official president yet, but now you handle everything i will be out of your way.'' the president replied. '' That is good then you keep waving and smilingandlook firm for the cameras all the hard work is being done for you '' Sophia replied. '' there will be many guest from different countries in the world i sent invites to the other four east African nations and they all confirmed they will be coming, united kingdom prime minister confirmed his presence, i am still waiting for the confirmation of the united states fo America. So be the woman i know and you will be fine infront of these big nations.''she added '' well you are the military girl you have always known to be calm ,i guess i have to follow your advice this nation needs someone to stand for them and what they believe. Have you called Nicholas to confirm if he is coming?'' the president asked. ''Yes and he will coming today so be calmed for God sake we are taking care of things'' Sophia replied. President Victoria was very anxious of whatever the future was but she was confident with Sophia by her side things will be ok.

         In The Justice family they have a tradition each new beginning of the year new goals are set and must be achieved by all and at the end of the year they meet and give feedback on what they hav done so far. Amanda was excited about her plans for the year because she planned to usesome of her savings to help the children she has been seeing for the past few years and with the money of his family she was thinking big. Her dad did not expect that her mother too, his brother understood but in a sense of him seeing Clara more often. Chris always supported her because he loves her but she does not know it. '' As i said i want my family to help build shelter homes for these children around the city i know it is a long shot but please can you pitch in for me'' '' Amanda you are going big this year '' Gray commented. '' well i support the initiative but will you be able to handle it with all the case we have at the office'' her dad said '' Dad it is as if you do not know me, i am a fan of multi-tasking so it is no big deal and Grayson will help me so nothing will be that hard to run everything. All i am asking is for you to make some calls to people you know to help me establish this project i Will appreciate that'' she said. '' i will see what i can do dear'' Mr Nathaniel replied. '' i have not seen you this exicted for a long time dear what is it about this year that you feel strongly about'' her mom commented. '' well some people have drive to do things good or bad for whatever reason,my drive are these kids i have seen some grow up since i started all this in high school that sense of duty drives me so hard to the tip of my mind. Don't get me wrong other things do but helping these kids makes me feel more involved with making a better country in the future'' she replied. '' well dear i will see how to help in your cause. '' Will Clara be helping too?''Gray said '' ha ha hah , of course she Will be helping. i have noticed a glow each time she is around you'' Amanda said. '' whoa who is Clara?'' her mother asked '' she is my high school friend  i have reconnected with and apparently your son likes her, she is a doctor''  '' Well at last someone is getting some'' her mom replied '' what is that supposed to mean mom''  ''well we have not seen you mentioning any boy in our family and that kind of have us worried. You do realize it is not healthy to pile yourself with work and charity with no personal life to hope for''her '' '' Yes i was thinking the same thing'' her dad jumped into the conversation '' Well i do not see the point in all this discussion am leaving'' Amanda left  feeling a bit cornered by her family.
