Chapter-12 Choices We Live With

        We all have times we feel we are stuck in making decisions not because we cannot but because of what we stand for in our lives. Sometimes we want to change our dreadful past for a better future and other times it’s just for the people we care for and love. Until we  backed  into the corner to make decisions it is always hard for one to come to understand to what might happen if he or she tries to or not to make  that decision, We do struggle to reach the peak point where everyone in our lives is watching and waiting for us to make the decision for them while they remain behind to either support you or judge what you have chosen.

      President Victoria sitting  in the garden as her usual morning ritual was wondering what to do about the decision she had to make of her standing of Religion and its influence in the government for the good of governance. She struggled because the constitution says Tanzania was a secular state, but the people in the country had a strong belief of who influences more either Muslims or Christians. Sophia came and found her in her usual spot and sat beside her.  ‘’You have always had a pure heart and have made the  right decisions since have known except back then when we were in primary school you tried to cheat the teacher into sitting on a glued chair but she caught you, apart from that you have always been wise. So don’t  doubt yourself now because if you do things will fall apart and this continuing  feud in the country will destroy every one of us.’’ She said.             ‘’ I have always known what to say, or what to do, but I have always struggled to come to terms when it comes to discussing religion. It is something different and bigger than all of us’’ the president replied. ‘’ Yes,  it is bigger than all of us and that is why people want to here from their leader because they believe in you and have believed in you since the day you were chosen, so don’t hide down and feel sorry for yourself,  give them something to believe in’’ Sophia replied. ‘’ I guess you are right, this has to end this week I do not want my country to be part of the dead history no way not in my watch’’ the president said.

  ‘’ That’s my girl’’ Sophia replied.    ‘’ Where is Nicholas didn’t he stay over?’’ she added. ‘’ No,  not last night well we have had enough fun over and over again we surely needed a break.’’  They laughed about the comment it was funny when it came out of the president’s mouth. The servants brought breakfast and they ate while discussing other issues.

        At Nicholas’ house. Lea was talking to her dad about the training she was getting and she showed him the pictures taken during the training.. ‘’ Wow, that’s a huge person, do not tell me you took him down?’’ Nicholas commented on the picture. ‘’ Yes dad, I took him down and the other two of the same size the pictures are there’’ Lea boosted. ‘’ Well,  I hope the trainer is happy with you. By the way how is school, it has been a while since you have talked about it?’’ he asked. ‘’ School is ok and we are going for holidays soon so do not worry, I will tell you everything but now I have to leave for school, Aisha is coming to pick me up and I have to be ready. I hop you do not mind her driver taking us to school right’’ She replied and asked. ‘’ It’s ok I guess, you get dressed for school now and here is your breakfast, eat before you go’’ Nicholas shouted to her while she was going    upstairs to her room. Nicholas remained in the sitting room where he was putting his work together for a new case brought to his attention. The case was about   a group who called themselves Governors. This group had associates all over the continent and they where the big whales of squandered money and used  false  dealings  to get what they want from people and different companies. The report he had got from his subordinates showed some of the routes and the ways they used to do their activities. What Nicholas did not know was that The Governors had technology, money, people in the government working for them so his report was also on their table ad they were planning something big to stop him.
