You stood next to Kougyoku on the flying carpet. The object remained stationary behind Aladdin's Djinn. Judar, who was previously in your arms was being held by one of Kougyoku's nonhuman subordinates. A loose strand of hair blew into your face and you assumed all the action had caused it to get free. You looked toward King Sinbad who seemed to be shocked at the princess's arrival. You turned your attention back towards the blue Djinn, glaring harshly at the thing.

"I can see he's had a field day, tormenting our sweet little Judar! He even dirtied (Y/n)'s outfit!" Kougyoku wasn't necessarily talking to you, but you still listened.

"We managed to save them in the nick of time, didn't we?" You didn't like the idea that you had to be rescued, but you couldn't deny what he said. If Kougyoku hadn't appeared you probably wouldn't have made it out. At least not unscathed.

"But he's seriously injured! Look here, Ka Koubun, you'd better make sure you heal him. If he should die, it will be a disaster." You looked at Judar again, now worried. You didn't think he would die from the injuries but looking at them again you realized how they covered a lot of his body. 'He did bring this upon himself.' You shook your head, clearing it of the thought. Now was not the time.

"I am aware of that, Your Highness. He is, after all, our valued priest." You couldn't help but stare at the dark magi. You wanted to criticize yourself for letting him get injured to the point he was unconscious but something in you wouldn't allow it. You blamed him for getting involved with people he had no clue about, no idea what power they had. You could hear Sinbad say something from below but didn't listen to him. Kougyoku turned to you.

"Are you all right (Y/n)?" You looked back at her before slowly nodding your head. She gave you the most of a smile she could muster at the moment.

"Good. Thank you for taking care of Judar until we arrived!" You once again nodded at her. You both heard what sounded like what would soon be a magical attack. Looking down at the ground, you watched as the Djinn's fist still had the brights purple around them. You heard Kougyoku hum as she glared down at the thing.

"Oh, come on! Does that monster still want to fight? Sounds like fun! All right then, I'll be happy to take you on!" You watched as the Djinn got into a crouching position as if it were preparing to attack. The glow around its fist beginning to shine brighter. You could hear Ka Koubun tell Kougyoku to be careful and out of you peripheral, you saw her reach for the pin in her hair with a small smile on her face.

"Don't worry. Just leave it to me! You go on and tend to Judar. You stay here as well (Y/n)." Both you and Ka Koubun bowed as he went to work on the magi. You backed a little, giving Kougyoku some more space. She held the pin in her hand and you could feel a powerful aura coming off of her.

"My servant of Sorrow and Isolation... I command thee and thy sacred brethren." You watched as the flower-like design on it began to glow giving you some idea of what it was. You slightly smiled, excited to see Kougyoku use her power for the first time.

"Use my magoi... and lend tremendous power to my will! Appear, Vinea!" The princess looked up with a slightly crazed look in her eyes. You watched in awe as what looked like a serpent appeared, however, it was completely water. It circled her body and let out a slight screech. You could hear Sinbad comment about her being a Metal Vessel user and you were confused as to why he didn't know that beforehand. The creature that was holding Judar laid him down on the carpet.
