A little girl sat on the swing of a park, no one else was there. She ran away because her brother brought up a sensitive subject, her blonde hair was in twin tails as her pink eyes we're dull.

"Hey, why are you alone?"

Those were the first words spoken to her all day, she looked up in shock, not sensing him near.

"I-I didn't think anyone was here..."

She felt intimidated by the boy. He had rather unique hair that was split down the middle, half red, half white. His eyes we're mismatched as well, one grey, one blue. What really stood out was the brightness it those eyes. She only have one thought when she saw it....

"Pretty."

They boys eyes widened at the word that escaped her mouth. The girl, perhaps thinking it made him uncomfortable, stood up.

"S-Sorry! I'll leave!"

He stopped her from walking away by grabbing her wrist. The girl was shaking, perhaps afraid he would be mad.

"Don't." His voice was soft. "I'm curious about you."

"O-Oh! Alright ask away!"

"I'm Todoroki Shoto,  by the way!"

'Maybe I'll make a friend.'

She didn't know how true those words were at the time.

"S-Shoto!"

The younger girl met up with the boy almost everyday, they often discussed their quirks. Today he came to her with a nasty red scar on his left side.

"Koko....." He looked down. "I understand if you think I'm scary now."

"Of course not!" His eyes widened. "I'm not scared, just worried."

"I-It's fine. You probably already know, your eyes are glowing."

"O-Oh!" He was right because the same scene was in repeat in her head. "Shoto.... I'm sorry."

"Hey, don't be. You can do anything about it." He scoffed. "My dad has to much power."

"You know what!" She declared as her eyes stopped glowing. "I'll become a hero! And stop others from being hurt like you!"
