However, I believe that it is important, and often trippy, to think about and remember that just however many problems and emotions you may be feeling, all these "side characters" are experiencing too. Every person is the main character of their own book.
Think about every cheesy and cliche "bad boy" story you have read, and try to recall all the side characters in that world. You may notice that a common player is the spunky, rebellious, outgoing best friend.
