When I got to my room at 8pm I found Beth busy watching Elite on Netflix , she immediately paused the series and gave those ' tell me about it ' eyes. I pretended like I didn't understand what her look meant and she said ' oh no , Ms Richie you're gonna tell me about it.' To be honest of course I wanted to tell at least someone about what Ed did today , and since my own bestie is all about herself I might as well share it with someone who wants to know.
I opened up to Beth about my relationship with Ed from when it started , until our date today. She looked like she was gonna cry because in all honesty what he did today was amazing, any girl would appreciate it or even wish to have something like that done for them.

We got disturbed by my mom when she called me. I forgot that I promised to call everyday , but i think she's too busy to even remember my promise , I mean my mom is so busy running her magazine company (the voice) , trying to balance being famous and being rich to even make time for her only child. I used to pray everyday that she makes time for me but I gave up on that. I answered the phone ....
Mom?
' hey sweetie , how are you?'
I'm okay mom , you?
'I'm good dear , just so lonely'
Ncoo , mom you'll be fine.
Half of the conversation I wasn't even listening to her because she was busy talking about work and complaining about her employees. I hate how everything in her life is about work. At this moment I was fed up so I decided to just hang up without saying anything and immediately put my phone on airplane mode.

I went to take a long hot lavender bubble bath and just digest how my day went. After that I just decided to disable the airplane mode and just check my messages , mom asked why my phone isn't getting through. I just said , sorry mom it shut down due to battery. What ? don't judge me , it's not that easy telling you're mom that you hang up because you couldn't stand her.

Ed hadn't texted me, to be honest I suck at this relationship thingie , I expected to get a text from him but I got nothing. Or are my expectations of him too high? But anyway I just felt like it's fair if I thanked him for what he did and just let him know that I had a great day. From there He never said anything.
I decided to join Beth and watch a series with her , it's not like I had something to do and besides she's my roommate I'm probably gonna spend more time with her than anyone so I might as well get used to having her around.

After 3hours , I decided to call it a night and just go to sleep , Beth was still busy watching Elite.

I do not know what is wrong with my phone , but it published chapter 1 separately from 2 and 3.
