(A/n: this was a request sent by someone awhile ago and I haven't had the time to write because i've been stressed and busy but now because of the things that are happening in the world, i have time!)

I walk into the BAU and as I walked to my desk and sat down, Emily came up to me and whispered, "(y/n)!!! So... what are you getting Spencer for his birthday? Must be something... sexy." As she made a smirk. I was confused what she meant so I asked, "Spencer's birthday?" Emily gave me a look and says, "C'mon. You don't know what I'm talking about?" As she gives me a smile thinking you're joking. I tell her I wasn't joking and she looks shocked and says that Spencer's birthday is coming up soon. I start to panic. "WHY DIDNT ANYONE TELL ME THIS? WHAT DO I GET HIM?" Emily hits my arm and tells me Spencer is coming. Emily walks away as I pretend I'm busy doing paper work. His desk is right next to mine. Spencer sees me and leans over and and says "Hello, are you alright?" As he gives me a sly smile. I look over at him and smile, "I'm fine, I just have a lot of paper work." I say giving a fake laugh. He looks at me still not sure of my response but nods and goes back to do his work. Emily sees me and noticed how awkward I was and I can see her smiling. As I'm doing paper work all I can think about is what to get Spencer for his birthday. I can't concentrate so I get up quickly and head towards Garcia's office. I go into her office and I stand crossing my arms as I wait for Garcia to notice me. She turns around, "(y/n!!!!! HELLO!!" She sees my face, "what's wrong?" "I can't believe you didn't tell me." Garcia gives me a blank stare, "Never told you what?" I whisper, "why didn't you tell me Spencer's birthday is in a couple of days?" Garcia smiled at me and said, "I'm sorry, I thought you already knew" and gives me a smile. I become more upset. Everyone knew BUT me. Garcia said "Didn't Spencer tell you?" I look at her, "no. It's not like he will come up to me and tell me his birthday and say 'hey, (y/n) my birthday is in a couple of days.'" I say sarcastically, "that would be too weird." Garcia starts to laugh which makes me laugh. Morgan comes in and says, "(y/n) we have a case." I look at Garcia, "does he know too?" Morgan looks at us both, "know what?" And Garcia says yes. I sigh and cross my arms. Morgan just laughs and looks confused. I ask, "Did you know pretty boys birthday is in a couple of days?" Morgan says, "Yes, I knew. Why?" As he smirks at me. "So apparently EVERYONE knew but me?" Morgan starts to laugh, "Wait, I though you knew!" Garcia starts to laugh and says, "THATS WHAT I THOUGHT!" I laugh and say, "Next time it's someone else's birthday, you need to tell me." We all laugh and then Reid comes into the room. He tells us there is a case and walks out, we all follow him.

Throughout the case I was quite because I was still worried what to get Spencer. Spencer knew something was wrong but he didn't want to ask again and thought he shouldn't pressures me.

*few days pass* I remember tomorrow is Spencer's birthday. Shoot.

We are in the conference room and we waited until Spencer comes. He finally shows up and we all sing Happy Birthday. Through out the day I can see him smiling and talking to people and humbly takes his presents. I finally get the courage to walk up to him, "hey, can you walk with me?" He smiles and agrees. I take him to the corn and give him his gift. He opens it and his eyes sparkles and smiles. I got him a purple scarf because I have heard him talking about his mother used to make him a purple scarf. Spencer hugs me and praises my knitting skills. "I love it (y/n)! Thank you. It's my favorite gift."

*next day*

I get to work late and see Spencer wearing my gift and I blush and can't stop smiling. We finish discussing the case and we head to the jet. After we got evidence and stuff we found the unsub. Morgan and I drove to the unsubs home address and we split up. "You go that way and I'll go this way" I agree with Morgan and head the opposite direction. I walk as I hear a sound underneath my feet as I step. I hear a gun shot and Morgan comes running to me. He sees the unsub and shoots him. I start to become dizzy and see where I have been shot at. Morgan comes up to me as I fall on the floor.

*third person*
Morgan holds (y/n) in his arms and says "c'mon baby girl. Open your eyes" Garcia heard what has happened and asked what happened. Morgan tells Garcia that (y/n) has been shot by the unsub. Garcia starts to cry and Morgan falls for an ambulance. Garcia then calls hotch and tells him what has happened. Hitches faces drops and tells the team what happened. Reid panics and grabs his things and runs out of the office to the hospital. Reid gets to the hospital first and sees Morgan. "What happened, how is she? Can we see her?" Morgan says "(y/n) is in surgery right now. We will know more after until she's out of surgery." The rest of the team gets there after. The surgeon comes out and says that (y/n) is alright and then she can see people soon.

*few days pass*

I wake up and see hotch walking in, "hello, how are you doing?" "Well it feels like I've been shot at" he laughs which makes me smile because he rarely laughs. He talks to me about what cases they have been on and I get sad because they all seemed like good cases. "Take your time, and when you're ready you can come back." I thank him and he leaves because he says that Rossi wants to see me. Rossi came in and he hugs me. Rossi is like a father figure for me. Both of my parents died and now Rossi is like my father. We even joke about it. Morgan game in next. I've never heard an older brother but Morgan is basically my older brother. He walks in and messes my hair. "How's my baby girl?" He says as he chuckles. I laugh then wince in pain. "Don't make me laugh, it still hurts" then I laugh again. "I'm feeling much better thanks to you guys." I thank him for saving me. He smiles at me and hugs me and walks out. Emily comes in and tells me how happy she is to see me doing better. I smile at her and thank her. JJ also comes in and hugs me we talk for a bit and then leaves because Garcia was dying to see me. Garcia game in with a bag and she is wiping her tears. "What happened?" I ask her confused. She hugs me and tells me not to get shot at again. "I wasn't planning on getting shot any time soon, so don't worry" she smiles and pulls makeup from her bag. "Spencer is coming after to me. I thought I could put a little makeup on you and brush your hair so you can look extra pretty." I smile and agree. She brushes my hair and puts blush, mascara and light lipstick on. She hugs me again and waves goodbye and leaves. Reid walks in and I can see him fixing his hair. We hug tightly for a few minutes but felt like a few seconds then Emily comes in. "Reid, i'm sorry but we have a case. We have to go." "But I just saw her. We didn't talk." I touch Spencer's shoulder and tell him that it's okay and we can talk later. He looks at me sad and hugs me and i hug back. I kiss his cheek and tell him to go. He starts to blush and smiles and walks away quickly. Emily smiles and says bye as she walks away. I smile and touch my lips. I kissed Spencer's cheek. I could still smell him and feel his warmth.

*next day*

*third person*
The case finished and Spencer couldn't wait to see (y/n) he ran to (y/n) room and sees her reading a book. He smiles to himself and waits for a bit admiring her and then after a few minutes he walks in the room.

I see Spencer walk in and I put my book down to say "hello" he smiles and waves awkwardly. I chuckle and I hug him. He hugs back. We talk and he tells me that he was sorry he wasn't there when the unsub shot me. I tell him it's okay and he looks at me and says "(y/n), I was so scared that you were gonna die. I realized that I need to tell you something because if I don't then I might never be able to tell you" I look at him concerned and ask him. "(Y/n), I like you. Since awhile ago. I want to tell you because I realized that if I don't I might regret it. Although I am regretting it right now. I'm sorry" he starts to talk a lot and after he said he liked me I stopped listening to him. I look at him and smile and kiss him. He looks at me surprised and asked why I kissed him. "I like you too, dork. I have liked you for awhile too" he smiles and blushes and talks about the book I was reading and gives me random facts. I smile as I look at him talking. "I guess it was a good thing the unsub shot me." I think to myself.
