Love at first dance

I danced like I had never danced before.

Under her watch, I felt more under pressure than I ever have with my exams. I took a deep breath, but her smile reassured me.

"It's not you can't dance." She had teased, I laughed.

So when the music started, I closed eyes and rolled my head in time. My legs effortfully carried me across the room, my arms lifting above my head into 5th position, waiting four beats, before running into my jump splits.

I span around, once, twice, than landed gently on the ground. My legs and arms working in sync with each other. My feet pointing and tapping on the ground.

It was happening again. I was lost in my dance, my surroundings faded, and all i could focus on was the music and how powerfull and in control I felt.

I finished with two jump splits, a turn, and landing in a side splits.

Once I started to get my senses back I heard clapping coming from around the other side of the room, it was her, she was clapping and smiling.

"You're amazing!" She giggled. I blushed.

"So are you." I replied.

"I never got your name-"

"Calum, it's Calum." I cut her off.

"Nice to meet you, Calum, I'm sapphire."

I don't think even if I tried, I could of thought of a better name to put her with. Her name matched her bright blue eyes and long blonde hair tied back into a tight bun behind her head.

We sat in silence until an older women came to the door.

"Calum Hood?" She questioned. I nodded and stood up.

"The head mistress is looking for you."

Crap, i thought, I had totally forgotten what I was supposed to be doing!

"And sapphire Green," sapphire's head snapped up. "She want to see you too."

We both made eye contact, shit, we both thought.
