Cassandra's pov
My body hurts. Every time I move, there's just pain. for weeks they've been training us, basically just feeding the cattle before the slaughter. The only good thing to come out of this, if there is any this good to come out of this situation, was Dean. Dean, is a tribute from district 3, over the past few weeks we became great friends, And learned from each other, he always seems to pull me towards him, I always want to be with him, Sadly, I don't know how much longer I'll know him.
Right now I'm kinda wishing the training wouldn't end, for several reasons in fact. One, as soon as it ends, the games start. Two, I actually like my life thank you very much. Three, Dean.
"Cas!" I hear as I make my way to the elevator to my room. I turn, it's Dean. He greets me with a smile "Hey Cas! Where you headed?" I smile back "My room, why?" He gave a smirk, then continued. " well I WAS going to ask if you wanted to hang out. since, you know, the death and stuff that's coming soon." I just chuckle, and look at his face, his forest green eyes pull me in, his jaw line perfect and his hair...Don't get me started on his hair. "Cas, are you gonna answer?" I snap out of my trance. "Oh! Sorry I was just...um.." He chuckled lightly and smiled "save it. I'm guessing you'll meet me here later to hang out then?" "Y- Ya of course!" He smiles at me then walks off. Why do I feel this way? Why did I get lost in his eyes? Most important, what's wrong with me right now? I told my self to get it together. I call the elevator. I step in and as the doors close I think with a smile on my face I like when he calls me cas
