There are 5 people left in the planet after the Corona Breakdown, families have gone infecting each other. The world loathed with nothing except unburied corpses by the hospitals, in houses, or even outside - those who refused to go have themselves checked, who would lose consciousness in the middle of doing their business.
It became a quiet world.
A chance to live emerged once these five antidotes whom a professional scientist had once experimented, to see if taken by chance; would it be beneficial. It was from an unknown scientist, identity unknown, current state - unknown.
Miraculously, it worked. These five people would easily walk around without getting infected. The ingredients were unknown, though the five voluntarily had taken it on their own risks.
Let's take a chance to look at their perspective.
The blonde teenager with freckled cheeks was curled up whilst sitting down onto her bed. Tears had uncontrollably streamed down on her cheeks. It felt empty, as if none were alive anymore at this moment. At this point, she felt lonely, abandoned, and helpless. What was the point of being alive at this moment, regretting taking that antidote; a sigh escaped her pinkish lips. Catherine opened her laptop, the brink spirit of hope had emerged once she heard a notification; a post.
From someone who is still alive.
She had immediately checked to see who it was coming from..
'XxNutcrackerLOLxX posted a new quack;
"lol is anyone still alive at this point lmfao send likes if u are, what a time to be alive!! !! ! ! ! !"
Posted, a minute ago.'
"...Seriously, the guts of this boy. He.. must've received an antidote too or.. I don't know." With that, she began tapping her slender fingers onto the keyboard.
When she tried to check on his profile, it was nothing but filled with games and.. sarcasm.
With that, Catherine commented on the Quack written on the communicating platform, Quacker.
'Catherine left a comment;
"Are you a robot?"'
Catherine knitted her brows together after posting that comment, genuinely, she felt terrified. She didn't know whether to have a good feeling or a bad one. The sound of a message notification left her to make a small noise of yelping. This was a normal reaction to such situation.
"XxNutcrackerLOLxX: ARE YOU ACTUALLY ALIVE OMG LMAO?"
"Catherine: ... I'm guessing you're an actual person? How did you survive?"
"XxNutcrackerLOLxX: i should be asking you that, i have 1 more friend here w/ me that stumbled on sum... antidote, i thought it was poison so i took it,, getting pretty lonely so like... whats the point man."
"Catherine: That's funny. So you were trying to kill yourself with some substance you're not sure of?
That antidote is an immunity to the virus. Didn't you receive a note with it?"
"XxNutcrackerLOLxX: WOAH OK SO LIKE WE BE THE ONLY ONES HERE WHO SURVIVED???????
WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.""Catherine: You said that twice."
"Catherine: We should unite as the remaining beings of the planet. I'm Catherine... I'm not sure what your name is.."
"XxNutcrackerLOLxX: OH, the friend with me is valentino but huhh i call him val becuz valentino is too cheesy. im ian lmao sorry for the username its my gaming name."
"Catherine: Okay.. Ian. Where are you from?"
"XxNutcrackerLOLxX: YEAH OK IM FINNA GO MAKE SUM GROUP CHAT CALLED THREE ALIVE PEOPLE ON EARTH hold up lemme add my homey."
A small smile had graced upon Cath's lips. For someone with such a negative vibe, encountering someone who's positive - extremely positive despite the current situation; she was thankful. Although considering the thought of when Ian had found out about the antidote... He was happy that he gets to survive when he got to live. Especially when he was on the brink of ending himself, maybe he had plans that he wanted to accomplish.
On the other hand, Ian in his room along with Valentino laying on his bed. Ian was on a gaming chair, his whole appearance was exactly of a boy in a gaming gear.
"Hey Val," Ian called out, holding a controller. Ian was a tall boy, in his teens as well and tanned skin. His eyes were dark brown and his hair was as dark as raven. His facial features were matured for his age, and he always carried that positive aura around him. Though, Ian may be cocky, he was a friendly boy.
On the other hand, Val, was a man in his 20s. Despite Ian almost being a young adult, Val's features are more broad, more manly. These two were good looking to say the least. His hair was brown, not exactly raven and his skin was flawlessly pale. His eyes matched along with golden hues. It was nearly brown, but it was too light to be brown so it did seem golden.
"What?" Val responded in a rather stern tone, his golden hues gazed over the other while he was on the bed, reading a book.
"Someone survived."
