Undescribably Perfect

Chatper 7

~•Jessica's POV•~
Hayes walks in and takes a seat at the foot of my bed.

"Hey." He says.

"Hey." I respond. He smiles.

"You're probably wondering why in the world I came, right?" He asked.

"Yeah I am actually." I say and laugh a little.

"I got bored in the other room and this is the farthest room away and I'm starting to feel tired. I was going to crash on the couch if you and Mahogany didn't mind. She doesn't mind, so I decided to ask you." He says.

"It's fine with me. Just don't snore too loud." I say. He chuckles. I join.

"Alright, thanks Jess, there was also something I had to tell you..." He says.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"The girl I was telling you about, the one that I should of asked out instead of Sasha, well, she's closer to me than you may think. You probably know who it is and I'm just sitting here going on and on about how stupid I was and how perfect she is. If I would of asked her out then Carter wouldn't of broke your heart. Jess, I'm in love with you. Even when I was dating Sasha. I wanted to be with you, not her. I wanted you to be in my arms, not Carter's. I knew something bad was going to happen with him and if I would of just asked you out instead of him, you and I could of been with the guys still having fun and laughing. Having our moments and 'Good morning' texts that we don't do. You would of been friends with Carter still instead of basically enemies. I screwed everything up, but I can't help it now. The past is in the past, Frozen reference, and I'm not making the same mistake again." He says. I'm stunned by his words that I can't even move. Hayes Grier is in love. With me. I am in love with Hayes. I guess I was thinking to much.

"I probably just scared you. I'll go to bed on the couch now..." He says and gets up and starts walking away. I jump out of my bed and grab his arm that is reaching for the door handle.

"No, I was lost in thought. Hayes, I'm in love with you too, I just need some time to get Carter off my mind even though that's basically done and gain guys trust back. But, I am deeply in love with you." I say. He looks stunned, then smiles when realization hits him. He engulfs me into a hug.

"I'm so sorry." He says. I put my arms around his waist and squeeze him.

"You didn't do anything. Give me a few days and maybe we can be something." I say. I can feel his lips curl up into a smile on my shoulder.

"I would love that." He whispers. I laugh gently.

"Will you stay with me? Being in a dark room by myself might bring back memories and memories might bring tears." I say. I feel his smile grow bigger.

"Of course Jess." He says. I release him and pull him over to the bed. I curl back into my spot and lays next to me.

"It's okay to cuddle you know." I say. He laughs and scoots closer and puts his arms around me. I lay my head on his chest and place my hand on his forming abs.

"Is it okay to say 'I love you' yet?" He whispers.

"Absolutely." I respond with a smile.

"I love you, Jess." He whispers.

"I love you too, Hayes." I whisper back.

I instantly fall asleep with my dream guy.
