"andrea."

"what?"

"can you stop being mad at me for two seconds."

"is that really important today!? me forgiving you! is that all!?"

she stared at nash with glossy eyes, he was struck in shock wondering what he had done. what he had forgotten.

"yeah. andrea your my bestfriend"

"and what about my mom!?"

his eyes widened when realization hit him. today's the anniversary of her mothers death.

"andrea i'm so sorry."

"you've been saying that a lot lately."

and with that she left.

her mothers death was an overdose. her mother was so full of cheer, and happiness. they knew she had a background with drugs, but she had thought she stopped.

nash came into their lives and became a member of the family. they were nash's second family.

even so, one day when andrea was three years old, she went to go get ready for school. looking for her mom her mothers body laid on the ground. no pulse, her face pale white.

she screamed and cried. her step-father came in and saw his wife dead.

and he hit andrea for the first time.

she wondered if she could go back in time to have her mother beside her. that pain and suffering she felt just finding her like that was unbearable.

knowing that the live mother that stood beside her yesterday, she would never see again, she couldn't wrap her head around that concept, it wasn't fair.

she's gone.

{this chapter is dedicated to someone close to me who lost his mother almost in the same way, so many thoughts are overcoming me. the last question on my mind is how does her feel?

i want to tell him i understand but i cant. this is the first time someone close to me has died, and i don't know what to do or say but cry when i'm supposed to be helping him. sorry for the long a/n}
