Naira's POV
Well Kartik and I were never friends , we just knew eachother because we were in the same batch , nothing much. He is like a popular , bad boy of the school , who has bunch of girls falling for him for his looks and all.
I on the other side, didn't hate him but didn't like him also, I don't know much about him, but my perspective might have changed about him after that night.
Ends
The halls were busy with chattering students, everyone was in their world, some were finding their friends, some were trying to remember their locker number and so on. Naira was taking some books out of her locker that is when she heard her name, she knew who was it.
"Hi Naira" Catherine said
"Hello! You seem excited" Naira tried to match her level of excitement
"Maybe, I wanted to come to school rather than be in the house all day" Catherine said, she was never like this, she hated school .
Naira and Catherine became busy in their talks so much that they got late for class, Naira ran to her class and opened the door to see the students staring at her and the teacher glaring.
"Ah! Miss Wilson why are you late to class?" he asked
Naira just rolled her eyes
"My feet were not ready to go to your class, I have to practically drag them here" Naira said and the class giggled.
"Is that the case?" he asked annoyed
Naira was back facing the door, so someone might have entered and the students stared at that person, she was curious who was the other person so she turned around and her head banged with the person's head, she started rubbing her head and then looked at the person.
"You?" Naira said in a half angry and half surprised tone
"Me?" the person said innocently
"Don't act so innocent Kartik, it doesn't suit you" Naira said folding her arms near her chest and glaring at him
Before Kartik could say anything, their teacher interrupted "Miss Wilson and Mr. Johnson both to your seats, NOW!!"
They both went to the last empty seat and settled their
"You were not in this class" Naira whispered
"Well now I am, any problem?" Kartik said sweetly
"Ya whatever" Naira rolled her eyes and continued doing her work
"Meet at the xyz corridor during lunch" Kartik whispered

It was lunch, Naira rushed towards the corridor told by Kartik. When she reached there , she was shocked to see her there
"Catherine?" Naira asked trying to catch her breath
"Surprise! Surprise!" Catherine said and dragged Naira near the group that was standing there
"So what do you want to tell me?" Naira asked
"Naira whatever we are going to tell you, it is going to sound weird but you have to believe us" Kartik said
"Oh really! What if you guys are pranking me or something" Naira said
"We are not here for some stupid prank" one boy snapped at me
"Easy dude" another one tried to calm him
"See Naira we all have received the same text sometime or the other, Emily also received the text,but she also used to get these weird dreams like someone has tied her to a patient's chair and is injecting something near her head" Kartik said
"What if they are nightmares or something" Naira said
" She said that they felt real and what will you say about this?" kartik said and pulled his right ear down, the area behind the ear was a little bluish black, then Catherine took out a UV torch and flashed it at the area and there was a B written in a circle, Naira was shocked to see it
"You might have got it somewhere Kartik, or your parents" naira tried to speak.
Then all the others did the same thing and a B written in a circle was found, then Catherine did the same thing with Naira and snapped a picture of it and showed it to Naira, she just stared at it.
"What do you think is happening and is this weird sign is on everyone?" Naira asked in a serious tone
"Ya whoever is under the age of 19 has it but not the others, Tristan and me have checked most of the people" Kartik said
Naira looked at the guy who has lost its patience with her earlier and then Kartik.
"What are we gonna do?" Naira asked
"Something" Catherine said
We all were silent , suddenly the other boy spoke
" And ya btw , my name is Jack , you know, if you want to know , cuz nobody took the pain to introduce me" he said in a dramatic way
We all laughed.
Whatever is happening , we are going find out.
