Chapter six

P.O.V   EMILY 

I lean my head against the wall. The last half hour before the concert starts has started. The girls and I have already got our make-up and clothes and we are now waiting until we can go on stage. Linda picks us up five minutes before the concert starts, and then we are ready to go. Shawn starts with Lost In Japan, then he shifts some songs and goes straight to If I Can't Have You. Then he does two other songs and eventually he picks me up for the song Imagination. It is really a sweetie. I look at my phone. Ten more minutes. We can go backstage in five minutes. I'm sending Shawn a text message.

U: Hey! Good luck! You can do it!😘🥰❤🎶🎤

My phone vibrates immediatly after I sended him the message. He was waiting on it.

Shawn my love❤😘: Thanks baby! You too! I'm excited!

U: Me to, I can't wait...

Shawn my love❤😘: Hahaha same. I can't wait to go on stage. I love you.

U: I love you more.

Shawn my love❤😘: That is not possible. I love you more then you'll ever love me.

U: Shall we get muffins later?

Shawn my love❤😘: OMG YES YOU ARE THE BEST!

I have to laugh. The door flies open, Shawn is in the doorway. The girls start screaming. "SSST!" he shouts. He closes the door and the girls nervously clump. "Do you want to do something for me?" he asks. He does not look at me. Too bad again. The girls all nod. "Emily here, she will be singing a song with me later. Can you improvise on Imagination?" he looks at me beaming. "Actually, we already have a dance on that song, remember ladies? The five of us did it so we could dance here? We can do it!" Kira says enthusiastically. I roll my eyes. Shawn walks over to me and takes my hands. "Only if you like that too," he says with an enchanting look. The girls grab each other. "He's my boyfriend, okay?" I say irritably. "No one should know so you have to keep your mouths." The girls nod. Shawn leans forward slightly and kisses my lips. "I love you," he says softly. I chuckle and kiss him.

P.O.V   SHAWN

I am ready to start. I look at Linda. She shakes her head. Not yet. I check that everything and everyone is ready. The band members rush to their places. Be patient Shawn, you can sing with your girlfriend soon enough, I think to myself. I look at Linda again. She shakes her head again. It makes me nervous. The band starts playing Lost In Japan. I look at Linda again. Now she nods. I run onto the stage and thousands of girls start screaming. I immediately bet on Lost In Japan and everyone sings along. I really enjoy all this. The song passes at a very fast pace. I look around and see all girls screaming and crying. I still think it's crazy that these girls are so interested in me. Like I'm a show animal. The rose in the center of the room shines brightly in my eyes. Smoke is blown into the room from all sides and I can do nothing but sing and enjoy. When I hit the last note, all the girls start cheering and screaming again. "Good evening the Netherlands!" I shout over all the cheers. When things start to calm down a bit, I start my story. "Today was a day full of surprises. And I would also like to give you some surprises. The first one will see you soon and later this evening I also have two surprises for you." Immediately there is enormous applause and cheers. I look back and see Emily standing in the wings, blushing. She raises her thumbs. "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to welcome Emily, Kira, Daphne, Sanne and Lola, the best dancers in the Netherlands and also the dancers of If I Can't Have You." I haven't said it yet or the band starts the song. I see Emily walking nervously to her place. I give her a reassuring look. She looks at me and smiles. Then she starts dancing and she forgets the whole world around her ...
