It was my fifteenth birthday party and everybody was there that meant something to me. My Best friend Kaleigh thought she'd make an announcement. ( her brother is my cousin, and Christian, who I'd been secretly dating for almost 5 months, is their cousin, so we're not related, I mean her brothers always joked about my cousin married my cousin, but I wouldn't be that big of a deal, we're NOT related) "Hi everyone! I'm Kaleigh, Sarah's know best friend. And I'd like to make a very special announcement! Sarah, you are related to one of your very best friends!" All eyes turn to me and I'm not sure what to say," oh wow, Kaleigh you and I are related?" "Nope, you and Christian are!" We both go bug eyed, everything we've ever done runs through my head and I try to calm down but I really can't, I try to turn it into an amazed surprise, I think everyone fell for it...
"Oh wow! Christian, we're related! But wait, how?" Kaleigh explains that she's always known, and since Christian and I started getting closer, my 15th birthday would be perfect to announce it.
