I awoke to the blaring of my alarm.
"Ugh monday," I said as I groggily rolled put of bed. I then took a quick shower and started getting ready.
I put on a pair of black leggings and an oversized grey sweatshirt.

I walked downstairs to find a note saying 'Hey honey I got called into work early be home at 7 - love dad'

I let out a long sigh, "This happens more and more every day," I then proceed to grab a bowl from the cupboard and some cereal - fruity pebbles my favorite - and some milk then I eat my breakfast and grab my bag and head to school.

The walk to school isn't that long only about 15 minutes but that's only because my dad won't let me drive yet. I don't like school very much, I don't get bullied or picked on but I don't really have any friends because of my anxiety. I've never had a boyfriend, I've never kissed anybody or anything even remotely intimate.

My dad says I should be careful who I trust. I don't really know why he's always at work even though he loves me. But I guess I remind him too much of my mother. And you might be thinking why I would think that, it's because I've overheard him on the phone telling someone how painful it is to even be near me let alone look at me.

I've gotten used to it though so it's okay. Anyways I've been so lost in thought that I didn't even notice the brick wall I walked into. I looked up and catch the eyes of no other than Achilles Red.

"I'm s-s-sorry I d-d-didn't m-mean t-to b-bump into y-you," I said while looking wide eyed at him because his signature glare is enough to make anyone faint from fear. And because he stopped me from falling which resulted in him holding in his arms. I, for a split second thought I saw surprise on his face instead of his usual glare.

"Watch where you're going next time," He said storming past me with his glare back in tenfold. I stood there dumbfounded that he even caught me. I mean he isn't Achilles Red a.k.a The Reaper for nothing. I let out a huff and continued walking to school.

When I got there I went to the office to get my schedule and locker combination. While I was doing this I felt a weird tingling sensation on the back of my head and turned around to find Achilles staring at me. He looks surprised that I caught him for a minute then went back to glaring and walked off.

Oh well, I guess he was just waiting for his turn. I looked at my schedule and found that I had science, english, and math before lunch and P.E., art, and a free period after. Hmm I can work with this. I quickly made my way to my first class of the day when the bell rang.

Once I got to class I went to the back of the room and took a seat right by the window. I was zoning out when I heard the chair next me move making a squeaking sound. I turned around to find Achilles himself sitting there looking rather annoyed.

"What," he snapped once he realized I was staring. "N-nothing," I quickly stuttered out. Gosh, I wish I didn't have this dang stutter so much.

I turned back to the window when the teacher Mr.Miller walked in. "Good morning class I hope you all have had a wonderful and eventful summer," he said with a smile on his face.

I could tell he would be a fun and nice teacher to be around already. However Achilles had thought different I swear I heard him snort, "Yeah right dumbass," under his breath.

He caught me staring again and just looked at me saying, "What Babygirl see something you like," with a smirk on his face. I let out squeak , not expecting him to say anything. "I-I h-have a n-name you know-w," I said with a bright red face.

He let out a chuckle and said, "Yes I do know but seeing you go all red is much better," My eyes widened at that not expecting him to talk to me let alone chuckle.

"Well Babygirl what is your name anyways I'm sure it'll come in handy," he said with one brow raised.

"M-my n-n-name is T-T-Thea," I said bright red and wide eyed. He let out another chuckle and said, "Hmm such a pretty name for a pretty girl," My heart almost stopped when he said that. I've never been complimented by a guy before nevertheless a cute guy.

"I-I...t-t-t-thank y-y-you," I managed to sputter out.

"Anytime Doll face," he said with an arrogant smirk on his face.

After this we didn't talk for the rest of class me mainly focusing on taking notes while I could feel him burning holes into the side of my head while I was working.

After the bell rang I ran out into the hall way trying to distance myself from him. I was in such a hurry I accidentally tripped and almost fell when I felt a pair of toned arms wrap around my waist.

As I look up I see myself peering into the eyes of Achilles himself with an angry look on his face glancing at me before glaring at the jocks behind me when I realise that they tripped me and I wasn't being clumsy. He looks into my eyes again and I swear I saw concern hiding underneath the anger in his eyes.

"Are you okay?," he says looking over my body as he stand up with me still in his arms.

"Yeah I-I-I think-k s-so," I say when he realised he's still holding me.

"Hey dip fucks, you ever touch her again and I'll fuck you up!" he said Venom dripping from his voice.

"Now apologize." the glare on his face said he would indeed flip them up.

"S-sorry Thea," the jock named Adam stammered out.

"I-i-it's f-fine," I tried to get out as best I could but the arms wrapped around me were really distracting.

I felt the Achilles tighten his grip on me slightly before slowly taking his arms off my waist.

He looked really mad.

I don't know what to do.

So I tugged on his arm a little to get him to look at me.

His eyes softened once they landed on me. "Can you t-t-t-take m-me h-home pl-e-ease," I whispered softly once he gave me his full attention.

"Sure Babygirl, let's go," he said as he put his hand on the small of my back and gently guiding me out of the building.

"Do you need me to walk you home Babydoll?" He asked as he looked into my eyes.

"N-no thank you-u. I can manage," I said while averting my eyes from his smoldering blue ones.

"Ok Babygirl. I'll see you tomorrow," he said as he took a step back.

"I'll s-see you t-t-tomorrow too. Bye-b-bye Achilles," I said turning around.

"Bye Angel," he said as I walked away smiling like a mad man.

"I hope he's this nice tomorrow," I muttered under my breath to myself starting to get lost in thought.

Well I guess only time will tell.
