♡A reason to live.
I dont have that. And I dont want to have it either. Staying any longer here is such a pain in the ass.
Living.
Will she forever hopelessly search for her will.
Or perhaps, it was there, her reason to exist. To endure this tormenting time, the source of her happiness. It may just be there, at hand's reach. Waiting patiently for her to embrace, its light flickering every now and then.
But what will she do when the light diminishes? The fiery will being put out by the cold stare of reality.
Reality was too unfair. It had no reason being that painful. Wrecking a person, maturing them into something much more worse. One of the epitome of evil was reality, and how cruel it can be.
Unfortunately, unfairness is the only thing fair in this life. Accept it, nothing is forever worth celebrating. After happiness, there will always be pain. Thats it. Thats the world for you.
A lost cause, that was all she is. There was no hope in fixing her. She was just a mere pitiful person who tried and tried to embarrassingly connect the pieces.
Repentance isnt enough. Everything isnt enough. Because sooner, she will be pulled back by the souls she slaughtered to a never ending nightmare. She deserved it, there was no denying it.
The woman smiled in the mirror, completely disgusted by the bags under her eyes and the tired expression she wore. Sighing, Tori grabbed the gun stored in a drawer and loaded in two bullets before spinning the six bullet - chamber. She held the gun next to her head and stared at her eyes.
Do it. You've suffered long enough. Do it so no one will get hurt. Pull the trigger and drop dead, no one will care anyway, right? I have my heightened regenerative abilities, so I'll survive a bullet to the brain, right?
Just this once.
She took a few deep breaths, her grip getting stronger around the gun by every second.
Along her journey with the Scout Regiment, Tori had met some wonderful people that are not afraid to be friends with her and don't care about her history. It left her to wonder why they still talk to her when she's wrecked and an ex-assassin that can snap their neck in a heartbeat.
Perhaps, it's because they understand Tori more than her self. They simply do not care because they know that it wasn't her, she was controlled.
Tori set down the gun on the sink carefully and sighed. She wants to die already, but she still wants to be with her friends. The redhead leaned on the wall and slid down 'til she sat on the floor. Her hands went clumpy as tears welled up in her eyes. Tori hates crying more than anything. It makes her feel vulnerable and weak since being known as a wicked assassin.
