Jotaro sighed as he made his way through his usual crowd of fangirls. He was going through the events of his morning and what it meant. 'Another stand user at school.' He remembered the fear in the mystery girls doe like eyes before a stand manifested in front of her. It had horns like a bull but it held a fan like a weapon. “Good Grief, this sounds like a whole problem waiting to happen…” He shouted at the girls to shut up which only made them coo and awe more.
Yuno saw the classroom door close before a foot caught it. “Sorry I'm late, Mr. Io. It won't happen again.” From the voice alone she perked up excitedly. A turquoise haired girl walked into the classroom. All the boys perked up as well. “Reiya-chan come sit with me! Reiya-san over here!” Mr. Io clapped his hands to get the class started. “Ms. Keiuchi, would you kindly take a seat so I can get started?" “Sorry. Right away. ” She bowed slightly towards the teacher as she walked to sit behind her best friend. Reiya sat down and did a soft kick to the girl in front of her. Yuno jolted up at the sudden movement. As she continued writing notes, a piece of paper flew onto her desk. She uncrumpled it. ‘What gives?! You ditch your very best friend on the first day of school. How utterly cruel lol.” Yuno wrote down a brief explanation of her whole morning, including running into Jotaro Kujo. She received a new note in response. ‘OK, I might have to take back what I said. Even the dude on the right of us?' She turned around and did a sheepish nod. Reiya facepalmed herself. She could never understand how her friend could be so unaware of her surroundings, considering all of the 8 years of ballet Yuno took. Reiya threw one last note. ‘We’ll talk later at lunch. Maybe invite the red haired boy to sit with us as an actual apology.’ Yuno felt her face flare up at that last part. “Deto. (Sounds like a good idea to me.) “Nobody asked you Bronzer!” She shouted within herself.
Once the bell for lunch rang, kids filed out to the cafeteria and courtyard. Yuno sat on the bench near the gate, waiting for her friend.”Hello, is this seat taken?" “Ah sorry, this is for my-” She looked over and it was the red haired boy. 'Gah what is he doing over here?!' she thought, panicking. 'Deto.' (Go on, introduce yourself to the boy.) She began sputtering but was cut off by her friend. “Oi Yuno. you already invited him? Wow, I'm proud of ya!” Yuno felt her ghost sweatdrop. The red head quietly chuckled. “Not quite, I was just asking if the seat was open. But I guess it is reserved.” Reiya slapped him on the shoulder. “Nonsense! We're all in the same homeroom so we should sit with you. Now what's your name?" He did a small bow before putting a hand in his pocket. “My name is Noriaki Kakyoin. It’s a pleasure to meet.” Kakyoin turned to Yuno. “I do believe we met this morning on the way to school.” He said with a light smirk. Yuno scratched her head in embarrassment. "Y-Yeah I know. I'm sorry about that. I'm Yuno Lanosette.” Kakyoin sat down next to Yuno. Followed by Reiya sitting next to Kakyoin. It was a tight fit but it worked. “I think I remember your name. It was Reiya wasn't it? Reiya nodded. “Keiuchi. Charmed.” Everyone opened their lunch boxes to find their favorite foods.
“Aww yeah strawberries! I love my mom so much!” Reiya said with comical tears running down her face. Yuno quietly ate the sandwiches she packed for herself. Faintly hearing Kakyoin and Reiya get into it over what the best berry is. She smiled at the sight. 'Reiya can make friends so easily, I hope I can be like that one day' . Towards the end of the lunch the trio packed up their things. Reiya put her hands on her hips. “Well that was fun, we should do that again another day” Yuno nodded. "Yeah, yall are great entertainment with lunch.” Reiya softly flicked the side of her friends head because of the comment. Yuno stuck out her tongue in response. Kakyoin softly laughed.”Yall are quite the pair. I'd love to.” He tapped his chin in thought. “Oh, but could I bring someone with me next time?” Yuno nodded. “The more, the merrier.”
Jotaro was on the roof smoking a cigarette. This was his third time skipping class this week. But for whatever reason, he never seemed to fail his classes. Finding that stand user was something he had to do. He felt his phone vibrate, and pulled it out. It was a text from Kakyoin. ‘Hey Jojo, sorry to miss lunch with you! I couldn't find you and ended up having lunch with two girls from my homeroom. It was very interesting and I'll tell you about it after school.’ He looked to the sky and took another drag of his cigarette. ‘I should probably tell him about the stand user too. He may be interested.’
Kakyoin's face lit up in surprise. “Jotaro are you serious?! Another Stand user?” They were walking home from school when he gave him the news. Jotaro nodded. “Yeah. No doubt about it. Her stand looks like a bull but it uses a red fan.” Kakyoin looked over at his brooding friend. “Her? What did the user look like?" Jotaro thought back for a second. “Shoulder-length wavy black hair, and big brown eyes. She's of average height but looks like she could tossed around like a jacket” Kakyoin stopped walking. He thought of his lunchtime. The blue haired girl and her friend…the same girl that bumped into him. The realization came flooding in. “Not quite Jojo, her eyes were hazel, not brown. Like...warm honey.” He raised an eyebrow at the red haired boy. He smiled sheepishly as he played with his hair noodle. “I'm pretty sure I met her today at lunch. The Stand users name is Yuno Lanosette.”
ACHOO! Yuno sneased. “Bless you.” Reiya said, as she gave her a napkin to wipe her nose. “Thanks.” They were sitting in Yuno’s favorite cafe, The Well. This cafe made the best cappuccino ...well according to her. But while Yuno came for the coffee, Reiya came for the strawberry shortcake. “Ahhh this is soooo good after a long day of school” Reiya said. Munching on the cake, Yuno could see small sparkles of happiness around her friend. She rolled her eyes and giggled. Reiya’s phone buzzed on the table, so she grabbed it and started texting. Yuno made a confused face. “Your mom is texting you already? Or is it one of those guys from your mini fan club?” “Bleh.” Reiya stuck out her tongue in disgust. “God forbid any one of them get my number.” She showed her phone to her friend. "Nah, it's Kakyoin from homeroom.” She looked at the new contact. But instead of it saying Kakyoin, The contact was saved as ‘Dumb Cherry Head” Yuno sweatdropped with her spirit. “How...fitting.” She went back to texting. “He wants to know where we want to sit in the courtyard so all 4 of us can sit comfortably.” She cleared her throat. She then put on her best Kakyoin voice. “Rei-chan, you and Yu-chan can sit us on the roof tomorrow. I know we are not supposed to go there but we won't get caught. I promise.” Her eyes sparkled with wonder. “Cool, I've never been on the school roof before!” Yuno smiled softly. “Yeah me neither.”
She looked off at the window as her friend texted away. 'I can't stop thinking about this morning. What if he's still after me? Or my stand?' Taura appeared next to you. 'Deto. (Don't worry, if he tries anything, I'll blow him away.)' 'Thanks Taura.'
“Yuno!” She snapped back into reality. “Honestly, you look like you've seen a ghost.” “Sorry, I'm still thinking about the Kujo Incident this morning.” Reiya shook her head and sighed. “Yuno, you always worry too much. Listen here, dont worry about that dumb delinquent. If he tries anything tomorrow, I'll take him down myself!" She saw her pat something on her thigh. Which made her worry even more. “L-Let’s just pay for our things and get home.” She waved her friend goodbye as she opened her front door. She sighed as she took off her shoes. “I'm home.” she said quietly to an empty house. She turned to the kitchen to see a note on the table. ‘Will be working late. Don't worry about making anything. I’ll eat outside. Finish your homework and get something to eat for dinner. Love you, Dad.’ There was money on the table next to the note. She knew the routine all too well. Her dad worked for a Hedge fund, which made him work all types of hours. He pretty much threw himself into his work after mom died. But while yalls talks were few and far between, she could still feel the love and they were heartfelt conversations. She grabbed the money from the table and put it in her purse. Then grabbed some chips and a drink from the fridge and headed upstairs to do the little homework assigned.
As she brushed her hair for bed, Yuno heard a text notification from an unknown number. She texted a hesitant ‘who is this?’ and got an almost instantaneous ‘Kakyoin, I got your number from Reiya. She let out a small breath she didn't know she had."Oh sorry, whats up?” A 2 minute pause was in the air. A new message showed up. It made her pale as a sheet. “Yuno, I know about your stand.” She threw her phone off the bed and hugged her knees. “What the hell is a stand? Is he talking about my ghost? How could he know, I've never told anyone. Not even Reiya. How could-” She stopped in mid thought. She knew exactly who. Jotaro Kujo. He’s the only one who has seen Taura. Yuno turned around and flopped face first onto her pillow. She groaned in it as she drifted off to sleep with her mind drowning in worry.
