Chapter 4: Fight, Flight, Or Freeze- Part 2

Author's Note: Alright before you begin reading this chapter, I want to give a brief breakdown of Taura Bronzer/Bronze Taura fighting style. So in the prologue I said she was pretty good with close combat. However, for a specific real life reference towards her fighting style, I point you to the fighting game Dead or Alive. Particularly, Dead or alive 6 for better graphics. Outside of my favorite character in the series, Helena, is another character named Ayane. I don't know the official name of her fighting style (It probably says in game but I'm too lazy to look) but I always did like her spinning and jumping kicks as a kid. So I wanted to incorporate that with Taura. In addition, I will also use Mai Shiranui from SNK. Considering Taura uses a fan as well, it would make sense to use her fan moves from Mai's game.

Kakyoin gently put Reiya down on the floor. He looked at the poor girl with blots of tears in her eyes 'This doesn't seem right. Does it really have to be this way?' he thought to himself. He turned to Jotaro. "Jojo, I don't think we'll be interrupted anymore." he stood up and dusted himself off. Yuno watched him and looked back over at her friend. "Reiya..." She softly spoke to herself. Jotaro shifted his hat down. "Good, we don't need anymore dumb nuisances like her."

Yuno felt something in her mind snap at the comment. She felt her nails digging into her skin as she tightened her fists. The blood peeking through the skin as it dripped to the floor. Something was happening to her body. She felt it shake, but not out of fear. Her body became hot, but not out of embarrassment. This was a new feeling for her. Something she didn't like, but didn't hate the taste of.

Pure, unadulterated RAGE.

A voice rang in her mind. "Deto. (Looks like it's my time to shine.)

"Wh..at...did you...say..about...my friend?" She said barely above a whisper as she slowly looked over at Jotaro. He looked at her and almost winced. He looked at the blood trickling down her finger as she just stood. But he did not waiver. "I said we don't need anymore nuisances like your friend because we need to ask you some questions." And then he saw it. A red aura circling around the mysterious stand user. He watched as it grew bigger and bigger.

Taura Bronzer slowly seeped out of her body covered in the red aura. Her eyes glared at the student in front of her. Taura looked over to Reiya and gritted her teeth. Which changed into a smirk. "Lady Yuno, what would you like me to do?" Slowly, she saw her user put a hand to her chest. "I...I want.... 'She looked up with a determined face. "I want them off this roof!" She pulled out her fan with a quick nod."Deto." 'Understood!'

She charged at the delinquent with full force and started spinning on her heels. Jotaro called out Star Platinum to stop the attack. But he couldn't tell where she'd stop and strike. But without losing a beat, she roundhouse kicked to the right. Using her wind powers for a more concussive edge. It was barely stopped by grabbing her leg with both arms. "ORA!" Star cried as he tried to throw her. But she let her upper body go limp, letting it drop to the floor. Using her core strength, Taura caught herself with both hands to the floor. With one strong push, she kicked her purple enemy up using both legs as a kick off.

Kakyoin watched as the bull stand successfully went on the offensive. "Amazing, she doesn't even look like she's putting any effort in. There's no doubt she's strong. What will Jojo do?"

Taura twisted around to stand upright. She extended her fan as Jotaro went up. "Time to put you in your place." She flicked her hand downwards. "Tornado Drop!" Star and Jotaro started spinning as they fell back down. They crashed hard into the concrete roofing. She floated softly and waved the fan to her face. "I know that is not all you have. From all the rumors about you that Yuno and I heard, this cannot be everything."

"You're definitely not as much of a pushover as your user. " She looked as both figures dusted off her attack with minimal damage. She squinted at the boy in disdain. "But now, I can't play around anymore." Bronze closed her fan with one clasp."As will I." For the next half of the battle, they traded equal blows. For every punch Star landed, Taura landed a kick in a different part of the body. But every time they couldn't land a punch or a kick, they countered with something else. A grab or a chop, anything to get an edge on their opponent. Both users were heavily wounded but one was losing stamina fast. Yuno fell to her knees in exhaustion. She tried to control her breathing. "I'm...going to give it my all! This is for Reiya!" She steeled herself for one final push.

Yuno slowly crept to her feet, struggling to stand. She staggered over to the tall teen, her vision started wavering. She slowly started to walk as she gave all her energy to her ghost. Bronze felt a final surge of energy as she ran towards Star Platinum. She lowered her head to gain speed as she ran towards the enemy.

Kakyoin called out from the side "Jojo, get out of the way quick!" Star quickly dodged out of the path of the rearing bull. But what he didn't see was the bull using wind to arc herself exactly at the path of Star. She goured him right in his chest. "Arrggh!" Jotaro gushed out blood as the bull's horns dug into his flesh. "Jotaro!" Kakyoin yelled out. Bronze kept pushing towards the edge of the roof with her horns. But then, her attack stopped. He pulled the bull girl off from her shoulders as he looked over to the user.

Yuno had finally collapsed from mental and physical fatigue. He pulled his hat over his eyes. He couldn't get the picture of Yuno's eyes out of his head. He didn't know if it was the color or the look of determination in them. "Good Grief. Oi, Kakyoin get her friend." The redhead watched as he walked over and started to carry Yuno bridal style. He almost wanted to laugh at the sight. Helping the person you just fought to nurse their injuries. He didn't see that often. But with Jotaro he could never tell what he'd do next. Kakyoin quietly nodded as he took in the whole battle. "Jotaro looked like he was in trouble. I didn't know whether to jump in or not. What would have happened if she was a more experienced stand user?" He shook his head to get the questions out. Right now, they needed to get these two help. As well as Jotaro. As they walked towards the office, Kakyoin stopped. "Jojo, Yuno isn't an enemy stand user is she?" The brooding teen also stopped. "No. She didn't have a flesh bud either. So the reason she was fighting...was to protect herself and her friend." Kakyoin heard the drop in his voice at the last part. It was guilt. He patted his friend on the shoulder and softly smiled "Don't worry, we can make this right. When they wake up, we'll tell them everything. Well...maybe just Yuno-chan." It was brief, but it was there. A slight smile on Jotaros lips. They both walked in silence again carrying both girls to their destination.

Authors Note: Alright look I'm probably gonna edit the fight scene sometime in the future because it seems a little lackluster to me. (I'm not the best at writing fight scenes) So bear with me on that. Also, I hope you guys got the gist of Tauras fighting style. I really wanted to hammer that home. (Thus, the two YouTube videos).
