Chapter 5- New Leaf

"My oh my Lady Yuno, you were REALLY angry back there." She looked around in the dark void. Her ghost manifested in front with a light smirk on her face. Yuno held her face as her cheeks went red." Oh relax, nobody can hear or see you. We're in your blank consciousness. It's just us." Taura sat down gracefully with her legs sprawled out behind her. She patted the space next to her for Yuno to sit down. She reluctantly obliged, criss crossing her legs. "Jotaro Kujo isn't as bad as you think he is." Yuno looked at her spirit friend with surprise. Taura put up a hand defensively. "Hold on, let me explain my point first." She nodded for the spirit to continue.

"In my battle with his Star Platinum, I deduced a number of traits. One, he's a rude, egotistical delinquent that is definitely the opposite of a gentleman. Star had the nerve to call ME a pompous, stuck up bitch! The nerve of that stupid purple ingrate! Why, when I get the chance I will..." Taura watched as her user's face grew worried by the second. She took a deep breath to calm herself. "Sorry, I lost my train of thought for a second. Gentlemen. Which would be his friend Kakyoin. Although, I think he has his own sinister side too. I couldn't get a read on his ghost. However..." The ghost pointed upward. "Jotaro is currently carrying us. Probably to the nurse's office. I know because I can feel Star holding us too." For a second, Yuno could feel a strong, warm presence around her arms.

"Now if he was truly evil, why would he help us? Respect? Pity? Chauvinism? I am not sure." The ghost started to stand up as her body started to flicker. "T-Taura! Your body?!" The ghost looked across her as she just shrugged. "Oh, I am fine. You are probably just starting to regain consciousness." She casually pulled out her fan to wave lightly on her face. "Please try to understand. And try to make Reiya understand too. We both know she can be a bit of a hothead. " Yuno nodded as her spirit faded away. A faint light took her place as it grew bigger....

Yuno softly shook her head and opened her eyes. She was in an unfamiliar, traditional japanese-style room. It looked on the mundane side, like it was a guest room. Yuno tried shifting upward but winced at the throbbing headache and her aching muscles " I wouldn't get up right away. Try not to move so much." She turned her head slightly to the left to Kakyoin sitting next to the window. He gave a soft, reassuring smile to the girl. His smile slowly fell as hair covered his face.

"I'm so sorry Yuno-san. For Reiya-san and for everything that happened. We thought the worst and both of you got hurt in the process." He got on his knees and did a full bow. "Please forgive Jotaro and I." Yuno winced as she slowly moved into a sitting position. "Please Kakyoin, get up. It's fine. I don't want you to feel bad anymore. But Reiya, she may not be that forgiving. I just...want us all to be friends." Kakyoin raised his head at the last portion. 'Friends...something I didn't really have until recently with Jotaro. Could I really have more?' he thought to himself. "I'd like that a lot actually. " he smiled.

Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of a door opening. It was Reiya with an older blond lady. "Oh Yu-Honey! You're finally awake! Here, have some tea and snacks. It must have been quite a tumble down the stairs today at school. " Yuno awkwardly rubbed her neck as she sweatdropped at the reason they gave her. They both walked over and set their trays down. The blond lady clapped her hands." Oh! I almost forgot to introduce myself. I'm Holly Kujo. But my friends call me Seiko. Please feel free to call me whatever you'd like." Holly turned to Reiya. "And Thank you for helping with the snacks and trays. You are just the sweetest pea." Reiya cheeks flushed with embarrassment and a tinge of guilt. "S-Sure. Anytime Ms. Kujo. Thank you for letting us stay here and rest."

The woman nodded and walked to the door. "All of you are free to stay for dinner. I'm so happy that Jojo finally has a group of friends to call his own again." She wiped a tear from her eye as she closed the door behind her.
