"B'cos I can't come to you, there's no name you can call me"

JUNGKOOK'S POV

Yoongi hyung burst through my door like a storm.

"What did you do again, idiot?" he hissed, arms crossed, eyes colder than usual. The others filed in behind him—everyone except Taehyung. Their stares stabbed at me, but I stood there, unmoving.

They could glare for eternity.
I still wouldn't care.

"YAH, JEON JUNGKOOK!" Yoongi's voice cracked through the room. I finally turned, meeting their looks with a glare sharp enough to cut.

"Why can't you all mind your own business?" I asked, face blank, tone dead.
They exchanged glances—surprised, almost offended.

The hell with that.

"Jungkook, you do know the kind of people you're speaking that way to, right?" Namjoon asked, brows drawn together.

"Damn that," I scoffed. "Of course I know. But right now, the only thing I see is a group of people who can't look at their own mess before poking into mine."

The air thickened. Someone muttered my name.

"No, hyung," I cut in sharply. "That stupid creature is my mate."

Their eyes widened—shock, confusion, disbelief—but I pushed forward.

"So she's mine. Meaning I can do whatever the hell I want to her. And to all of you."
I pointed at them one by one, slowly, deliberately.

"None of you have the right to question me."

"You little—"

"It's okay, Yoongi." Jin stopped him, gripping his arm. Yoongi still glared at me like he wanted to shred me apart. His jaw clenched so tightly I could almost hear the crack.

Then—crash.

His fist smashed into the glass door leading to my balcony before he stormed out, nearly slamming it on Taehyung's face.

Taehyung stepped in, hands raised in mock surrender, smirking.
"Woah~ that's one hot temperature in the middle of a vampire coven."

I ignored him.

"And what's with the staring competition?" he added, strolling past the frozen group to flop on the couch.

"I'm tired," I said flatly. "I'd like to be alone."

The others took the hint and shuffled out. Taehyung stood up lazily.

"You too, Taehyung."

"Woah, chill dude, I was already leaving."

When the door closed, silence settled.
A silence I preferred.

THREE DAYS LATER

I stayed indoors. As usual.

The others entertained themselves with outings and games, but I'd rather stay buried in the quiet than deal with anything breathing. Except for Pia—that clingy mosquito who loved barging into my room uninvited. A few insults and ignoring her usually drove her out... but never before she cursed me out dramatically.

Annoying pest.

I hated clingy people.
I hated people in general.
No regrets. Ever.

Everything felt... disgusting to me lately. Even existing.
