Chapter 21

Taehyung stays stunned, eyes glued to Jungkook. He wants to say something but words don't come out. Sure he saw something like this coming but when he is facing the moment... it's not what he imagined. Since Taehyung is silent, Jungkook speaks again.

"Tae I don't know how you feel about this, you may think I'm rushed but trust me I really do like you. From the first day I met you I felt special because no one,no one has talked about me with that much care Taehyung...Every moment, every day I spent with you after that was pure happiness for me. I can't remember having that much real moments ever since I started my career. As much as I love my career, many things in this industry is so fake."

Jungkook smiles sadly. Taehyung still keeps looking at Jungkook and he feels the grip of his hand gets tightnes. He tears up a little because he has never heard someone talks about him like this, about his inner beauty.

"You changed everything in these few weeks Taehyung. Happiness, care, everything I was missing I see them in you. You're such a beautiful person, inside and out. And I promise to give you every happiness you deserve... Please don't think I'm being selfish, or I'm coming only for your look-"

Taehyung kept listening so far but soon after Jungkook starts these words he decides to speak.

"Jungkook..."
Taehyung softly says. But Jungkook doesn't stop as he keeps talking.

"Because I have never experienced-"

"Jungkook..."
Taehyung says again and cups Jungkook's face with his free hand. This time Jungkook stops and looks at Taehyung. He feels sad as Jungkook looks so vulnerable.

"This man has never been seriously loved..."

"I have never thought like that Jungkook... you're the only one who wanted to discover my inner feelings. Now don't think I'm bragging but everyone who followed me, only thing they kept saying was about my look. How much they love my prettiness and body and whatever"

Jungkook chuckles at that and Taehyung follows. He takes a deep breath and starts again.

"You're the only one who likes me for being myself Jungkook. You're special to me."

Jungkook feels many emotions inside him when Taehyung says that.

"But- I can't give you an answer right now Jungkook... I'm sorry if I'm hurting you-"

"No. Tae...you can take your time. I don't wanna pressure you."
Jungkook says, forcing a smile.

"I understand if you don't-"
Jungkook couldn't complete as Taehyung removes his hand from Jungkook's face and hits his stomach.

"Idiot! Did I ever say something like that now?"
They both chuckle. They both lean in and rest their forheads together,Jungkook cupping Taehyung's face. Jungkook starts caressing Taehyung's cheeks and he closes his eyes. Their lips are so close and how much Jungkook wants to put his lips on these beautiful plum lips of Taehyung. He knows he has permission too but he wants to stay in his boundaries for now. He doesn't want Taehyung to think that he is just another person who is trying to take advantage of him. He will surely wait.

"Shall we leave?"
Jungkook wispers. Taehyung smiles and nods. They both get up and start walking, hand in hand. They pay the bill and leave after having a little conversation with Yoongi.

"Just be with him,love him. He will cherish you for the rest of your life."

These words Yoongi said when Jungkook left to the parking lot to get the car,they keep repeating in Taehyung's head. He glances at Jungkook and smiles softly. His eyes are focused on the road. Music is on but non of them have a mood to sing along. They both are lost in their own worlds.
