Chapter 14

Taehyung is busy preparing for the ceremony as tomorrow is his graduation. But deep inside he knows that he is too damn happy...actually for two reasons. First,he is one step closer to his dream of becoming an idol. Second reason is Jungkook. Yeah,just him.

He doesn't know where would Jungkook take him tomorrow. Part of him knows that it's something special. He is too excited for that. He knows that the graduation is the most important thing but...a little argument is going on inside his head.

"Why are you so excited about him? It must be about the graduation you idiot! That's what you have been waiting for. That's your dream."

"I know but...don't forget that Jungkook is the reason that I worked hard for this. Is it wrong that I'm happy to meet him more than my graduation?"

"It's not wrong at all. But when did he become so important more than your dream?"

"There's nothing like that. I still respect him as my role model and...and that's it."

"Are you sure? That's it?"

Taehyung closes his eyes. He doesn't wanna answer that question. Seriously he doesn't have any reason to grow feelings about Jungkook right? But he knows that he has already come too far. He lets out a deep sigh. This is a moment he should be celebrating,not to be worried.

Suddenly his phone rings and...

Jungkook

A smile appears on his lips seeing the name.

"Hi Jungkook!" Taehyung answers.

Jungkook: Hey Taehyung,what are you doing?

Taehyung: I- uhh- just getting ready for the ceremony.

Taehyung curses himself for shuttering.

Jungkook: Oh,am I disturbing?

Taehyung: No,no Jungkook. You aren't.

Taehyung says giggling. Jungkook chuckles too.

Jungkook: I wanted to ask you- uhh-

This time Jungkook curses himself for shuttering.

Taehyung: What is it Jungkook?

Taehyung asks,worried. What if he wouldn't be able to make it tomorrow?

Jungkook: Are we still going out tomorrow?

Jungkook hesitantly asks,Taehyung laughs at that.

"Why are you asking me? You're the one who is taking me out.." Taehyung says giggling. Jungkook smiles at the loving sound.

"Yeah...I- I thought you might have forgotten...that's why I called..." Taehyung smiles at Jungkook's soft words.

"No Jungkook...I haven't forgotten.." How can I?

Jungkook feels so happy and proud hearing Taehyung's words.

They don't have any idea about the time passing as they keep talking and laughing till the midnight. They both know that something so strong is growing inside of them. This is the first time that they talked for hours like this and both of them are loving it.

Yeah...something new is about to start.

Taehyung is in a cafe with his mother after the graduation. Most of his friends went to celebrate together after the ceremony but he stayed with his mother and took her to a cafe. It's her who has been by Taehyung's side from the very beginning,she worked hard for Taehyung and now his turn to take care of her mother. He bought her food from his own money and Taehyung's mother,Yerin is really happy right now.

He didn't get much time to spend with his mother for the past few months,so they were talking alot and Taehyung forgot to text Jungkook.

Jungkook has been waiting for Taehyung's message,it's almost 1pm but he hasn't texted. So he decided to call him.

Taehyung comes to his right senses when he sees Jungkook calling.

Shoot.

"Hi Jungkook..." Taehyung hesitantly says,he thinks Jungkook might be mad. "I-I'm sorry I forgot to text..."

"Oh it's ok Taehyung..." Jungkook says smiling. "Are you ready? Is it ok...uh- if I'd come now?"

"Yeah,yeah Jungkook." Taehyung excitedly says.

Taehyung informs Jungkook where he is and hangs up the call,smile never leaving his lips.

"Someone special?" Yerin asks with a teasing smile.

"Huh? Uh-- no mom.. just a friend." Taehyung utters.

Yerin hits Taehyung's hand and laughs.
"You're my son..I know when you lie."

"I'm not lying mom." Taehyung says,looking down and smiling.

"Oh...ok." Yerin teasingly says.

"Mom...I'm going out for a while. You can go home right? I'll hire a taxi for you..." Taehyung says,looking at his mother with wide puppy eyes.

Yerin's teasing smile turns into a soft one,seeing her son's hopeful eyes. She doesn't have to be said,she understands her son very well. She has never seen her son with this hopeful eyes.

"Ok my baby...take care ok? I hope everything will be good for you." Yerin says holding Taehyung's hand.

Taehyung smiles back.
