Chapter 35

Taehyung rushes to the hospital, he knows that he looks like trash as he didn't even have a shower but he doesn't care. Jungkook is the only thing his mind and he just want to see him.

Taehyung felt like his whole world stopped right at the moment when he saw the news.

Popular singer Jeon Jungkook meets with a terrible accident on his way home.

News reporter kept saying many more things but Taehyung didn't hear anything else. He felt like his whole world spinning and he immediately left the house.

"Where-where is Jungkook?"
Taehyung asks receptionist in a hurry while breathing heavily.

The receptionist thinks that this is a crazy fan so she is about to make him leave but suddenly,

"Oh my Good are you V-"

"Just tell me where he is!"
Taehyung yells before she completes.

"He is in the operation theat-"
Taehyung runs even before she tells where Jungkook exactly is.

Taehyung looks for a sign while looking here and there, but it's not easy for him to find Jungkook. He leans into a wall and closes his face with both of his hands.

"This is all my fault, this is all my fault..."

He starts walking again and that's when he spots Namjoon, sitting close to a theater room. Taehyung feels like he saw an angel and he quickly runs to Namjoon.

"Hyung..."
Taehyung calls Namjoon from a distance. Namjoon looks at the direction, he looks mad but Taehyung doesn't stop.

"Why are you here??"
Namjoon raises his voice when Taehyung gets close to him. Taehyung flinces a bit at Namjoon's voice.

"Kookie..."
Taehyung says in a low voice. His finger pointing the operation theater and his puppy eyes looking directly at Namjoon.

"Kookie huh?"
Namjoon humorously laughs.
"Like you ever cared."

Namjoon shakes his head and turns around.

"Hyung please tell me...is he okay? What happened...?"
A sob escapes Taehyung's lips but Namjoon stays unaffected.

"What happened?? Well you don't know what happened? He just wanted to talk and did you ever let him??"

Taehyung's head hung low and he doesn't say anything. Namjoon feels bad. He shouldn't have yelled at Taehyung because he still doesn't know the truth but at least he could have listened right?

"He crashed his car into a truck."
Namjoon says, this time his voice is a little bit calm.

"I knew he wasn't in his senses when I called him so I came to meet him but when I was on my way..."
Namjoon fists his hair before he talks again.

"I was already late. I- I saw him Taehyung he was in a pool of blood!"
Namjoon says the last part in a raised voice and Taehyung sees a sting of tear in Namjoon's eyes.

Taehyung can't even imagine the sight, he never wanted Jungkook hurt. Yet he himself hurt Jungkook, and worse...Jungkook is battling for his life right now and even that happened because of him. Taehyung sits down as he feels dizzy.

"It's my fault..."
Taehyung wispers while staring at the floor.

"Of course it's your fault!"
Taehyung's eyes widden when Namjoon says that.

"It was your fault from the very beginning. Because of you he had to leave and-"
Namjoon immediately stops when he realises that he is crossing his boundaries.
