Third person's POV:

Jungkook quickly got his things from his locker and went outside to look for Jimin. The reason he was so irritated by Christopher in class was because his friends weren't exaftly the nicest when it came to people with disabilities. He wanted to protect Jimin from the demons at this school at all costs, even if that meant ruining his friendship with his friends.

Everybody on the path outside moved out of his way since he looked like he was on a rampage, but as soon as he saw Jimin opening his car door, he had a happy face and walked over to him.

"Jimin," he exclaimed, scaring the boy a little bit. "Sorry. Um... I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today. I'll have you back before dinner."

"Is this that nice boy you were talking about over the phone?" Jimin's mom asked from the driver's seat. Jimin sighed and nodded, recognizing Jungkook's happy voice from earlier. "You're a good kid, rght?"

"I'd consider myself to be, yes."

Jimin scoffed and his mom grabbed his sleeve and looked at him. "Boy, don't make me get out of this car and take off my sandal."

"Don't make me get out of this car and take off my sandal," Jimin mocked, leading his mom to get out of the car and him to start screaming, hiding behind Jungkook who was standing right next to him. He pouted while the two started laughing at his scaredness, and his mom put her hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

"Have him home by six? He knows our address in case he ever gets lost and needs someone's help," she said and Jungkook nodded with a big smile on his face. "He never gets out of the house except for school. The main reason is because he's afraid to, but another reason is that I'm afraid for him to. Please make sure he's safe."

"I promise to keep him safe, Mrs. Park?" Jungkook asked her name hesitantly.

"Yeah, Mrs. Park. My husband (Jimin's father) died in the same fire that ruined Jimin's eyesight. He saved Jimin's life, but didn't make it out. I kept my name Mrs. Park even though he died because I know I can never marry someone again. I can't do that to Jimin. It's just him and I now."

Jungkook's smile faded and he nodded, shaking her hand. "I'm sorry about that. I'll make sure he doesn't get hurt."

She smiled and got in her car before driving away. Jungkook felt a huge amount of weight on his shoulders now. He wanted to get Jimin to have fun, but now he knew that if something were to happen to Jimin, his mom would probably have nothing left.

He turned around and saw that Jimin was quickly walking away and sighed. "Jimin-ah, wait!" He yelled, running up to him and grabbing his arm. "We gotta go to my car. Your mom said to keep you safe." Jimin started trying to get out of his grasp and Jungkook wrapped his arms around him to start pulling him away.

"No! I don't want to go with you!" He yelled, contorting his body to try to get out of Jungkook's arms. "Nooo."

"Jimin, stop! You're making it look like I'm kidnapping you!" Jungkook looked around and saw some students in the parking lot looking at them. "Your mom wants you to get out of the house and have fun. If you don't want to go out, I'll take you home. If you do want to, I'll have you home for dinner."

Jimin groaned and stopped flailing around to nod his head. Then, he linked his arm with Jungkook's and walked to the younger boy's car. Jungkook opened the door for him and tried to help him in, but Jimin swatted his hand away and got inside, irritated that he had to be social with someone outside of school.

Jungkook got in the driver's side and started the car, hooking his phone up to the radio. "Do you like any specific music artists?"

"Baekhyun," Jimin answered, facing forward with a bored look on his face. He was bored, and if he was being honest, he would rather be at home having to study English than be going somewhere with Jungkook. He despised the popular kids, and Jungkook being nice to him didn't make him like them any more than he used to.

He started lightly bopping to the song playing, and Jungkook smiled as the boy started quietly singing the lyrics. "No sleep tonight, we makin' love until the sun shines down on us. No sleep tonight, we makin' love until the sun..." Jungkook had never heard the song or pretty much anything by Baekhyun or EXO, but the lyrics sounded very... not Christain at all. "Baby lay back, close your eyes. Let me get drunk on the sweetness that is you. Search you softly. We can go on and on tonight..."

They were at a stop light, and Jungkook looked over to see Jimin still quitely singing the erotic song. 'How can such an innocent person like such dirty music?' He thought while looking at Jimin's soft face, chiseled jawline, and soft-looking brown hair.

'Fuck,' he whispered to himself.

"I can feel your eyes on me and it's making me uncomfortable," Jimin's abrupt words caused him to jump, and the honking behind him made him jump another time when the light turned green. He quickly sped forward and Jimin chuckled.

"I like your voice, Jimin-ah. You make such a mature sounding song sound cute." Jimin's smile from chuckling left and he had a scary angry face on, making Jungkook internally start freaking out. "Oh my God! Did I say something to offend you? I'm sorry. Oh my gosh."

"Oh for the love of God, shut up! Your paranoid voice is irritating the crap out of me!"

"I'm sorry, I-"

He abruptly turned to face Jungkook when they were at a stoplight and let all of his feelings about the black-haired boy out. "I don't like you, Jungkook! I don't like any of you popular kids! All you ever do is ridicule me just because I can't see! Call me pathetic or a crybaby, but it hurts my feelings! Don't say you understand becuase you don't! And you never will..."

Jungkook started driving again and felt his eyes slightly watering up. That happened every time someone yelled at him. Nobody at school ever knew that about him because he liked to hide it to make it seem like he was this big, powerful person.

In reality, he was a hurt boy who was always on edge, waiting for someone to come along and make him feel like he was okay. He had this strong exterior to cover up the fact that he was always severely freaked out by everything and emotional about the smallest things.

His friends don't do a good job at making him have any less anxiety since all they do is take risks and be insane. That's one of the reasons he wanted to hang out with Jimin. He wanted to finally meet someone who might be feeling the same way as him, and maybe, actually be friends with him.

Jimin ended up giving him his address, and he took him home before going home himself.
