[08] Suspended

*A week later*

*Friday, February 3rd*

Jimin and Jungkook didn't really talk a lot except for at lunch a few times. They had gotten more used to each other's presence, but not enough to actually start hanging out with each other. I.M was back at sitting with Taehyung, and Jungkook didn't dare to sit by him after what happened, so he sat at the other end of Jimin's table where no one else sat.

He was sure Jimin didn't even know he sat there, but he didn't care since he didn't do it to talk to him. One of the reasons he did it was to protect Jimin. He sat on the same side of the table, and looked over every once in a while to make sure he was okay.

Jimin found out what the four girls' names actually were. The girl who sat on his left was Jisoo, on his right was Jennie, and the two across from him were Rosé and Lisa. He asked Jisoo about her name since I.M told him, and the four ended up telling him their names.

"What are you guys up to?" A familiar voice asked from behind Jimin, making Jungkook look over. He wanted to purposefully gag loud enough for I.M. to hear, which is exactly what he did. I.M scoffed and put his hands on Jimin's shoulders to make Jungkook even more mad at his presence.

"Leave him alone," Lisa said, shooting I.M the most terrifying glare ever.

"I thought I told you to stay away from Jisoo, Park. Time to teach you a lesson." I.M came in Jungkook's direction and the boy rolled his eyes before standing up and getting in his face. "You're hanging out with the wrong kid Jungkook. You're one of the most popular guys in school, and you're ruining it."

"Why don't you just get out of here before you get suspended again?" Jungkook asked, earning a scoff from him. The entire cafeteria was quiet and staring at them, so Jungkook took the opportunity to call him out in front of everyone. "You all see him? The king of the idiots. The person who desides to beat up someone who's blind for no reason whatsoever. Not only does he ridicule the blind kid, but he does the same to everyone who sticks up for Jimin."

"You fucking idiot. You don't even know what you're talking about." He turned around and started walking towards Jimin, who was sitting there listening to their argument, but before he could get to him, Jungkook pushed him forward. He immediately turned around and tried to punch Jungkook, but the boy dodged it and punched I.M instead.

Everyone gasped as I.M stumbled back a little. They wouldn't think that a junior would ever punch a senior, but that's exactly what happened. "Kick his ass I.M," someone yelled from a few tables away.

Jungkook looked at the four girls sitting by Jimin, and saw Jisoo's eyes practically begging him to beat I.M up. He had obviously realized how possessive I.M was over Jisoo, so not only did he want to protect Jimin from him, but he also wanted to protect her from him.

"You're going to get your ass beat by someone just because you want to protect someone who can't even see anything? Seriously? He's as useless as-" that was all he was able to get out before Jungkook practically lifted him up and threw him on a table.

"Stop!" Somebody yelled as Jungkook started punching him repeatedly. I.M rolled him off of him and onto the floor, doing the same to him and punching him over and over again, harder than him. Multiple teachers ran in and Jungkook's soccer coach pulled them apart from each other.

"Both of you to my office!" The principal yelled.

*End of school*

Jungkook saw Jimin and his mom after school and walked over to them after she waved him over. "I heard you got suspended," she said and Jungkook looked down, nodding. There went his chance at having a friendship with Jimin. Now his mom probably doesn't like him."Jimin told me why you did what you did."

Jungkook was about to apologize or do anything to make it seem like he was a good guy, but he didn't have to. Jimin's mom hugged him. She just held him and silently started crying. "What's wrong?"

"Thank you for defending him. Not a lot of people would be able to do what you did." She let go of him and smiled before walking with Jimin to their car.

Jungkook sighed and got in his own car to drive home.

He lived alone, and it's not necessarily that he hated it. He just wanted someone to hang out with, which is why he always hung out with his three friends. And now, they were gone, so he just lived alone in the mansion he inherited from his parents.

He opened the door to the house and sighed, bringing his bag upstairs to his room to do his homework. Now, he had to stay home because he got suspended. It was going to be a long week.
