You follow behind steven as he tours around little homeschool, showing the many activities available there, activities to assist in forging a new beginning for gems and finding out their true passion in their everlasting lifetime.

Bismuth, of course, teaches a class on how to be a proper blacksmith. It was a cool job to have and you were pretty good with creating (weapons), but armor wasn't truly your thing. Not only was metal difficult to work with, but your tail was often subjected to burns from the various heat sources.

Peridot taught gardening, to which you absolutely adored. The refreshing scent of flowers, the endless color selection of them and especially the vegetables that was able to be grown really put you at ease. Your attentiveness to your plant and your constant monitoring of it's health kept your grades high in her class. Your favorite thing to grow was (flower).

Vidalia taught art. Needless to say, you were her favorite student. After all that practice you had drawing during your corruption days, as your art was absolutely impeccable. Your anatomy and hands were still a bit dodgy, but you over all did very well. You were also favored a bit by yellow pearl, as you drew her in graceful poses from angles that brought out her elegance, as well as added extras to make her stand out.

Garnet teaches what appeared to be yoga. It was safe to say, it wasn't your class. You could never get any of the positions she did right, and ended up falling over numerous times. And when you fell, it was equivalent to an mighty oak falling; there was a heavy thud, and the resulting quake would occasionally knock over the smaller gems.

Pearl taught how to use human technology. Which was quite handy to use, as 99% of the earth uses it. While you could still use them, your hands were too big for the comparatively small phones humans used, as you couldn't see the buttons or touch screen well from behind your large fingers, which often resulted in them breaking frequently. You needed a tablet in order to communicate via technology.

But by far, your most favorite class was Amethyst's liberation course. Because it was simple; there were no lessons! You just did what you wanted for an hour. And your favorite thing to do was to be able to interact with biggs and ocean jasper again. While you enjoyed talking with them and doing their hair, your absolutely favorite thing to do with them was wrestle. With or without corruption, you'll always enjoy the thrill and freedom wrestling brings.

While you all had fun, the intense struggles often resulted in damage to the area, broken equipment and knocking over other gems. However, amethyst seems to enjoy watching you all as you tumbled around the class like untamed animals. It was not only entertaining, but it shows that her training from the past still stuck with you. Sometimes she'd yell tips, encouraging praises and just cheer.

Steven, however...

"(NAME)!!" you, ocean and biggs jasper look to at a very tense steven, a clueless, bright smile on your lips. Seeing he had your attention, he huffed and relaxed his shoulders. "Come on... we're gonna go have lunch..." you smiled brightly at the thought of food as ocean jasper released you from her headlock and biggs jasper released her grip on your leg. You shook yourself off and rose to your feet, fist pumping the two jaspers, before turning and walking out of the ruined classroom. "Be sure to come back for round two!" Biggs calls waving to you, to which you wave back cheerily. "(Name) will! goodbye!"

"Your technique in there was off the charts, dude!" Amethyst praised you as you shoved a fist full of fry bits into your mouth, looking up at her with a dopey smile. "Can't believe you still remembered that ramming move I taught you a while back!" You nodded proudly, crunching on your fry bits as steven rolled his eyes sipping his soda. Amethyst then sighs in contentment. "This school thing's such a cool idea." she grinned. "I love being a teacher. No one's ever looked up to me before, you know?" A sly grin suddenly stretches her lips. "Except for uh, wittle baby STEVEN!" She suddenly reaches over and rubs at steven's belly, causing him to laugh. You smiled at the display and sipped your soda. "Seriously, dude, it's been been going great!" She chirps cheerfully. "Everyone wants to come and learn how to be an earthling!" steven's face faltered. "Uhh... not everyone."

It took a moment for you to realize who he's talking about before you rolled your eyes and groaned loudly. "man, forget her!" Amethyst exclaimed.

"I don't know, I'm worried." He replies somberly. "We healed all these Gems, and built that town and the school, because I wanted to fix some of the bad things the Diamonds did." he looked almost mournful. "Knowing there's someone out there still hurting because of the Diamonds, because of... my mom..." you snorted crossly, making him flinch. "Uh- I mean, I know it's not my fault, but if there's a chance I could make it better, shouldn't I try?" You rumbled lowly in your throat as amethyst sipped her soda loudly in disinterest. "I think you.. should stop trying to fix everyone." Amethyst suggested coolly. Steven looked reluctant. "Yeah... you're right."

You stared at him knowingly.
~~~~~~~~~~
Why are you so stubborn, boy?
You thought crossly as you slowly followed behind Steven, making sure not to make any sounds as he crept through the woods in a determined search of that damned orange gem from a few years back. Why can't he accept the fact she's too prideful for her own good?! After all the things she's done and the fact she refuses to be a part of the new era should give him a hint. But being the sweet, pure boy he is, he's still determined to get through her thick head. You suddenly come up to a clearing in the forest, where a rock cave of some type was present with torn drapes at the entrance. You tipped your head back, eyes going wide in horror.
It was absolutely bare! No trees, no grass, no vegetation.... not even animals were present! Just... a barren rock... wasteland...
Damn! how much anger does this gem hold!?
"(Name)!?" You jumped at Steven's hissed voice calling your name. "What are you doing here!?" He hissed indignantly. "Are you following me!?" you stomped your foot and crossed your arms. "What is steven doing here?! Steven said he wouldn't look for her!" you jot back, lashing your tail. Steven huffed looking down. "I... I have to try, Okay!? I can't just continue to let her stew like this..." you scoffed, crossing your arms. "Steven needs to give it a rest! Not everyone is on board with era 3!" He growls and storms towards you pushing against belly. "And (name) needs to go home! Now!" He spat crossly, trying to push you back into the woods. You rumbled in your throat, watching as steven fruitlessly pushes against your body, first using his hands, then moved to his shoulder, and finally to his back, grunting in effort and kicking up dirt in his desperation as you stood there motionless, rooted to your spot like a tree. "(Name) going nowhere." You rumbled flatly. "If Steven really thinks he can get through to tyrant, then (name) wants to see it herself." Steven finally stops pushing against you, and rests his head against your stomach in defeat. "Fine," he replies curtly stepping away from you. "And stop calling her a--"
"HOLD IT!!"
