Just Another Day Of 5th Year

Remus and Lily: Part 2

Remus ran to the only place he knew only one person would be. He went to the secret room in the library, the place only he and Lily knew about. Sure enough, Lily was there and immediately took notice of Remus's distraught state. To be honest, Remus looked a complete mess, his hair was completely tossed all over his head, his cheeks were bright red and tear-stained not to mention he was all sweaty from running there.
"Remus, what's going on ?"
Lily asked sympathetically. Remus said,
"Too much..."
Lily said,
"Spill."
Remus started to ramble saying.
"Ok fine so like you know I don't like my scars and today some Ravenclaws took the insults a bit too far so they kind of beat me up and I was in the bathroom cleaning up and crying when Sirius rushed in to see if I was alright and he kept pestering me so I started yelling and and.."
Lily cut him off saying,
"And you told him pretty much everything you hate about yourself and life and that you're in love with him,"
Lily said with a smirk on her face. Remus said,
"No, not exactly I just kinda told him I was in love with one of my best friends..."
"Oh dear, you're in deep sh*t."
Lily tried to say as kindly as possible. Knowing of his idiot decision Remus said, "Yeah I know. But what do I do Lils?"
Lily sighed before saying as calmly as possible,
"Well, honestly you have to come, clean dear. You have to talk to Sirius because, to be honest, I think he likes you too love."
Remus looked up and said,
"Are you positive Lily? I don't want to make a fool of myself or ruin our friendship..."
Lily said with a small smile,
" Remus I'm almost positive he likes you and you won't make a fool of yourself. Remus, you don't give yourself enough credit. You're handsome, funny, smart, and so much more you're kind and happy despite your situation and I don't know who wouldn't love that."
Remus smiled at Lily and hoped she was right.
