Whilst Dio slept soundly, Jonathan had a much harder time trying to sleep.

Endless warm tears rolled down his face, Sliding down his round, puffy cheeks and soaking into the pillow he was cuddling.

His breath hitched in his throat, Sobs of resentment echoing throughout his room.

Jonathan tightened his death grip on the pillow, Feeling rage and bitterness stir up his insides. But just as quickly as it built up, It faded leaving only sadness in its wake.

Jojo didn't want to accept that Dio was his brother, Despite it being set in stone. He had no familial attachment or even a friendly bond toward the boy, Only a smoldering flame of resentment.

However, Jonathan was sure this impetuous, rash desicion of his fathers was sure to fall apart sooner or later. Jojo only had to expose Dio for who he was on the inside, An arrogant, smug, conceited bastard.

But Jojo was a gentleman, He would never truly imply someone as such. It was distasteful and crude, But he had to admit it fit well when describing Dio.

Jonathan sighed, Rubbing at his red, swollen eyes, Wiping away the tears still threatning to spill.

The sadness nipping at his heart was cruel. At every single moment, Any time he closed his weary, exhausted eyelids they snapped open. A pang of bitterness and despair making his chest ache.

His breathing slowed, Grasping his shirtfront as he felt his heart pounding against his cold fingers.

It irked him how much power dio already had over him, It was beyond humiliating. To think some blonde upstart could get under his skin so quickly.

He deeply sighed through his nose and threw his covers off. His feet meeting the cold floor with a shiver.

When the smooth underside of his feet got used to the chill he shuffled over to his door and slowly opened it. Light from the hallway temporarily blinded him enough to cover his eyes, But they adjusted in seconds gazing down the empty corridor.

He trudged down the hall and slid down the staircase without a sound, Popping into the kitchen and filling up a glass of water.

Jojo chugged it down in a few seconds and placed the empty cup in the sink for the maid in the morning.

It refreshed him, Cooling down his warm, heating skin and quenching his thirst. However it didn't stop the sagging of his eyelids, Nor the heaviness of his legs.

His body was tired, Not at all used to being up so late. Not that jonathan had already tried to fall asleep, But his mind relented, His soul screaming and thrashing for any sort of vengeance.

But, Jonathan joestar reminded himself that he was a gentleman above all things. He wouldn't disgrace himself by acting on his hurt feelings. That would make him no better then Dio.

When he finally reached his room, He dragged his incredibly burdensome, taxing legs over to his bed and plummeted into the sinking mattress.

Jojo relaxed into the soft, cloud-like feeling surrounding his entire stature. Finally allowing a relaxed sigh to leave the back of his hoarse throat.

As his eyelashes fluttered closed, His breathing steady and his heart finally quiet. His mind switched off, Ignoring the multiple despondent thoughts in favour of the void.

With that Jonathan joestar was out like a light.
