Chapter 21: I'm sorry my queen

9:45 am

"Did you know that your beta kept me in he hospital in secret for two months? Your brother. Your blood. My best friend kept me away from you. From everyone and didn't bother to say hey she's still alive. And do you want to know the rest?"

He nodded formed to continue

"He was hoping the I stay in a coma a little longer or maybe wake I don't know. But do you know what that means?"

He shook his head 'no'.

"He was gonna kill the baby."

That's when I got his attention

"Lies! I don't believe you. He wouldn't do that. He wouldn't hurt you or a baby."

He was getting mad and I needed him to be

"Then where is he? I can smell him on you but don't see him. "

"He's in town either eating or sleeping."

He sounded confident in his answer so I had to test it

"Fine, take me to him. "

"What."

"You heard me. Take me to Xavier or am I going to find him myself."

He sighed but agreed to take me

"Fine, let's go."

One hour is how long it took from my house to the town but it was worth it to see Xavier's face when I exposed him for his lies.

"he's here. probably came in early to rest."

"Open the door."

he hesitated but open the door either way. on the opposite side was Xavier sleeping face flat well that was until we walked in and he noticed our presence and woke up.

"well hello, sleeping beauty."

I brought my sarcastic voice out and boy did it feel good right now.

when he saw who it was he jumped off the bed and look like he's seen a ghost.

"what's wrong. is there something on my face or maybe it's the condescending liar in the room. "

He looked towards me then he moved his direction to Tristen

"Tristen, man, don't believe her whatever she told you it's a lie."

He didn't get to finish what he was gonna say because Tristen interrupted him

"she didn't tell me anything. she just wanted to see you."

That sure made him quiet until I said something

"So are you going to tell him or am I because I don't care if your his brother or not."

He looked like a kid that got caught with candy

"Fine I'll talk but only with her."

Tristen wanted to stay but I told him no so he left as that happened Xavier went to sit down in the bed waiting for me

"it was your mate's birthday and I guess you had sex. Well, I had the doctor do some tests to see if something was wrong and something did come up. you were pregnant. When The doctor checked your stomach to see if the baby was all right I saw your birthmark. I knew I had to get you out of Texas. "

Xavier sighed then looked at me but I just told him to continue

"It had already been one month and you were still in a coma. I talk to the doctor about moving you while being dormant he said no because it would hurt the babies. "
