Chapter 7: The truth

Next day

June 13, 2017, Tuesday

"Jacqueline, I need to tell you something." As I spoke those words she turned towards me and waited for me to speak.

"Do you have an open mind?"

"what do you mean? do I have an open mind? " Jacqueline said

"If I were to tell you that it's not just us in the world, and not just animals. Would you have an open mind too what I have to say?" She looks like she wants to hear me out, but at the same time, it looks like She's doubting me.

"So what you're telling me is that you think there's more out there than just us humans and animals."
All I could do was nod

she laughed at me

"What makes you think that there's something else out there besides us."

I looked her straight in the face. ready to tell her everything I know. ready to see her reactions.

"Do you know where we first met? It was on the plane and you said who was I running away from I told you I will tell you someday that day is today. "

"But why today. why of all days." she looks so confused. It's going to break me telling her this reason. why, because I don't know if I'll lose her. I don't know if she'll think I'm crazy or not but let's find out.

" The reason why I'm telling you this today is because I can't keep it a secret anymore and you're my best friend and the reason why I was running away is because my boyfriend killed me..."

"what!!!!. he killed you and you didn't even tell me." I didn't even get to finish what I said but at least I know she cares but I had to stop her before she kept ranting.

"Can you let me finish?"
"Oh, my bad, go ahead finish."
I sighed and waited till she sat down

"so he almost killed me but the reason was because I wasn't the right one. It was on his birthday I had everything planned a week before and as we were talking about it he said he didn't wanna do nothing he just wanted to spend time with me. we argued until that day but we did what he wanted on that day."

"Are you telling me that you planned his birthday and you told him? you argued, he wasn't even considerate about it. And you're telling me that he almost killed you on his birthday he's an asshole? What else aren't you telling me because I've seen the scars on your body? what about those."

I didn't know that she would notice those but now I have to tell her.
I have to tell her the full-blown truth.

"You really wanna know the truth."
"Yes."
I fetched my woman balls and I finally decided to tell somebody the truth.

"well you know how I was telling you about having an open mind ,but when me and him we're walking home from the movie theater me and him were talking, and all I know is that I was just talking by myself ,and all I heard next was him screaming ,and then I turned around I didn't see him all I saw was the black wolf. a giant black wolf. I screamed his name like so many times, but he was nowhere so I finally turn towards the wolf.
I didn't feel scared, didn't look like it wanted to hurt me, I walk towards it in a very slow pace but when I was near it, it pounced on me and I was laying on the ground, and the Wolf is on top of me."

"all of that happen but wait how did you almost die. how did you get your scars? how did you come back to life? "

she asked the most dreadful questions I never wanted to answer.

"My boyfriend,  he turned into a werewolf. So when he turned back to a human he found out that I was his mate and he was unhappy with that. After finding out that information He told me I was weak and why did the moon goddess give me a human and that we were over and he left me crying in the rain."
