After dancing we were face to face breathing hard I had to get away from him right now but I had to clear things first between us if not this tension would be like a thick brick wall blocking my way every time I moved but only for it to get back in the way.
i had to think of an idea and the only one that came up was the continuation of everyone dancing and me running away from him well trying is the word.
as the song ended and we finished dancing I turned to the guests and announced to everyone that the dance floor was ready for others to dance and mingle with each other
"ok everybody y'all can go ahead and dance and conversate with each other and continue with everything."
I debated whether to leave him or take him with me and talk to him alone but as the mate bond had to win at this moment and I became all of a sudden I grabbed his hand and walked away from the party and towards where there weren't any eyes or ears.
"where are we going?"
"be quiet and follow me"
all he did was nod and followed like I said and he realized we had walked back to my house. yes my house what did he expect we were going somewhere else 'ha' in his dreams
"Why'd you bring me to your house on the day the red moon eve."
"I have been told what the red moon means and I know that you know what the red moon means. so tell me do you want this to work between us or not because i do but if I'm treated like this again then let's just say I'm warning you that I will castrate you and erase your memories of me do you understand?"
he nodded but I wanted a verbal answer, not some damn nod
"Can I get an answer not some damn nod? I need you to be serious about this and not play around. this is about the little girls that you might be and I'm saying that you might be in their future if you act right and if you don't well then there is the door because you are missing the opportunity with them and just for future reference you might get a chance with me you don't know yet."
he gave me a Cheshire smile hugged me tightly and said
"I promise I will act right and I will be here for them I promise. plus I hope you give me a chance to prove myself to you to get you back, please. in other words, I don't know if this means anything or helps me at all but as soon as I saw I umm decided to give up my title as alpha and win you back even though I didn't know you were a werewolf. I just wanted you back so I decided if it was true that you were alive I would leave everything behind and win you back. So when I came down here that was my goal but then I found out I had two beautiful daughters which made it harder for me since I know you didn't trust me, but as time passed by with me being here we became closer and closer"
okay so he answered but as he answered he poured his heart out. I didn't need all of that but at least I know how he feels, but how am I supposed to know when the mate bond is not fully healed? how am I supposed to know if he is telling the truth or not?
I guess I have to wing it and see how this goes.
"before I let you get close to girls I have to think for myself so the thing is we need to work out the problem between us before you become close with them, because if I reject you then they would be devastated about not having you in their lives"
he nodded then agreed like I told him how.
"yes I understand"
"well we should get back to the party before everyone starts to notice we're gone"
"yes ma'am"
"ooh, I like that. You should call me that more often."
"oh really I guess you don't want me to call you Mrs. Darcy"
I sighed then smirked
"I would but we're not married so Ms. Bennet would do."
he glanced at me and paused for a second then got out of his daze and replied to my answer and said
"You remember our names."
of course, I remembered im the one who decided to name us after the characters of pride and prejudice.,but I thought he had forgotten and I was the only one to remember I guess. we always had a saying when he called me Mrs. Darcy I would always tell him not until were married so Ms. Bennet it is.
but I guess this is the one thing that hasn't changed i don't know if he expects me to say yes but even though he calls me that I tell him to call me Ms. Bennet and he still calls me Mrs. Darcy
maybe not everything has changed or has it.
"so is Mrs. Darcy ok. or do i have to call you by your government name now like everyone."
(sorry for the late update guys I've had writer's block and decided to do this on my laptop... I know this is not great but I did this under a couple of minutes I wanted to update, but I think I need more time for the next chapter so please give me time and have patience please.)
