Chapter 2
A Wish"Hello, Sam. You called?"
The woman was smirking slightly at her and seemed completely at ease despite being in someone else's home. But suppose if she was a robber, she would be used to this sort of thing. Sam tore her eyes away from the crimson-skinned woman for a moment, only just then finding a deep, gaping hole in the middle of her living room which was just about to close, the faintest hints of a thousand wailing screams echoing in the background as it did.
"Aren't you gonna say hello?" her guest said in a sultry voice, shaking Sam's fragile core from how surprisingly attractive the voice was.
The Cuban closed her eyes for a few seconds and then opened them again, expecting the attractive woman-creature to disappear. An old trick she used to do when she spent her college days smoking pot and hotboxing herself inside her own room.
"This is getting kinda boring," the woman walked towards her couch and threw herself down on it, crossing her legs at her knees. She winked at Sam, her tail swinging lazily back and forth behind her. Still very real. Hector jumped out of her arms, knowing it was the best time to fuck off and leave his owner to deal with whatever this mess is--even if he was the one to bring this mess to Sam in the first place..
"Wha...?" Sam squeaked, feeling herself slinking back until a wall hit her back and prevented her from putting more distance between her and the intimidating presence on her couch.
"Sam," the woman said casually; mockingly.
"Who?"
"I'm flattered. You usually only forget your name when speaking to beautiful females," the woman said and then casually threw an arm over the back of her couch; the image of the most unbothered person to ever exist. Or not person, Sam thought, reminding herself of the whole horns, tail, and red skin thing the woman had going on.
"No, who are...?" Sam managed to get three words in this time.
"The name is Eve," the tailed seductress curtly replied. Sam was sort of surprised, not expecting a name as normal sounding as Eve.
"Eve is a biblical name, but definitely not from the bible you read," Eve said, once again seeming to read her thoughts. She continued to smirk lazily at Sam, causing Sam's heart to thunder in her ribcage.
"Where the Hell did you come from?" Sam asked, finally able to get her bearing back and the woman laughed so hard she had to clutch her stomach with one hand. She looked at Sam, seeming to take an interest in her even more.
"Oh honey, you wouldn't want to know the answer to that. Ask a more interesting question." Pitch-black eyes bored into Sam.
"What do you want?" Sam asked and the woman smiled wide.
"The right question should be.... what do you want?"
"What?" Sam asked stupidly once more, watching as the crimson-skinned woman slowly rise up and sashay towards her step by step. She was closer to Sam now, conveniently trapping the nearly hyperventilating journalist between herself and the wall. Eve smirked and ran her tongue over charcoal lips, exposing the forked, blood-red colored muscle.
"You summoned me, Sam. Rather, you released me after thousands of years. I am not just some common ungrateful being, so I am offering you one thing and one thing only."
Her hot breath reached Sam's face and the idiot forgot to breathe.
"I didn't- I was... I didn't summon you!"
Eve grinned and pressed her burning hot body against Sam, further causing the blood to rush up towards Sam's face. She is such a gay disaster. And just as suddenly as she felt it, the dizzying softness was gone and the horned beauty held up Sam's coin.
