Chapter 10

Liam's POV

Eve and Zayn had mentioned going to the store after the interview, which was fine. The guys and I just decided to play video games to keep ourselves occupied.

Zayn told me they were having a movie night , and with that I was a little skeptical. I knew he fancied Eve, and I saw the way she looked at Zayn. I just didn't want her to get hurt. We didn't really notice them come back home from the supermarket, but when we heard the TV from Zayn's room, it was obvious they'd snuck in without saying hi.

Hours went past and my eyes started to get droopy as I waited for my turn on the controller. I scrolled through my phone, and almost called Danielle but I remembered her saying she'd be at a rehearsal all day today.

I sighed in boredom.

"You alright Li?" Harry asked me. I looked up from my phone and shrugged.

"I guess I'm alright. Just bored."

"Yeah, me too. It's almost dinner time, do you wanna go get some food with me?" He asked.

"Yeah sure." I replied.

"Why don't you go ask Zayn and Eve what they want and I'll ask the lads." Harry suggested. I nodded and made my way over to Zayn's room.

Before I turned the knob, I heard them laughing. Sounded like they were having a fun time with just the two of them.

I opened the door and was just.. Shocked.

The two of them were standing on front of each other. That wasn't the shocking part. Zayn was in boxers and Eve was in her bra. I stood there in shock until they noticed me. All three of us stood there awkwardly,not knowing what to say.

"Liam I swear its not what it looks like." Eve said with pleading eyes. She grabbed the nearest shirt, which happened to be Zayn's.

"I can explain." Zayn said calmly.

"Go right ahead." I gritted my teeth together as I kept examining the two of them.

The end of The Notebook was playing, and there were two empty tubs of ice cream sitting on the floor.

"We were watching The Notebook, and you know that movie bores me, so I started messing around and put some ice cream on her cheek, and one thing led to another and ice cream ended up in her shirt and in my sweats." Zayn shrugged, and Eve nodded to confirm that's what happened.

"Seriously?" I asked. That was a dumb story, but it would be relieving if it was true that nothing was going on between them.

"Seriously." Eve assured me.

I let out a silent breath of relief. "Good. Anyway, I came to ask what you guys want for dinner. Harry and I are going to get something."

"Uh, I better have something healthy with all of this junk food I've been eating. Maybe a salad." Eve giggled.

"I'll have whatever everyone else is having." Zayn said, plopping down on his bed. I nodded and walked out of the door. Those two..

Eve's POV

After the whole Liam incident, Zayn and I picked a movie together, which ended up being Inception. I'd seen it twice, so I wasn't confused. So had Zayn.

As I watched the movie, I scooped up the last bite of ice cream into my spoon. Before Zayn saw, I popped it into my mouth. Two minutes later, he noticed there was no more ice cream left.

"Hey! You ate the rest of the ice cream!" Zayn dropped his jaw dramatically.

"Sorry." I smiled.
