At the 'Happy Bear' ice cream factory, a truck filled with buckets of ice cream exits the parking lot. Several more trucks in the factory's garage get filled with more as a bearded man watches over everything, talking on his phone.
"Yeah, it's a truck load of ice cream. What's the worse that could happen?"
On the other side of town, another factory, a cake factory, does the same with its trucks. A man standing off to the side of his own truck spoke into his phone.
"Yeah, cake's all loaded up. We'll be there. What's the worse that could happen?" He shrugged.
And lastly, at the city airport, two men loaded tons of boxes labeled with 'TNT' on the side into the airplane. The pilot picked up his cellphone from his pocket.
"Yeah. We're loading the dynamite onto the plane now. What's the worse that could happen?"
But oh, were those guys about to be proven wrong.
The school day ended just as usual, nothing non-Milo peculiar usual at least. Your last class happened to be with your brother and Melissa, Milo's being another.
Speaking of a beloved Milo Murphy, you and the others knew that his birthday would be tomorrow and you barely had the time to find the perfect gift for him. Luckily, you had enough parts left to finish Milo's gift last night. You were very excited to give it to him and after hours of working, you just knew he would love it.
The four of you were making your way down the hallway of your school as you talked about different things. Milo saw a drinking fountain out of the corner of his eye and pointed it out.
"Hold on, I'm gonna get a drink super quick."
He walked up to the fountain and pressed down the button when a large spout of water emerged from it and sprayed itself at him. Milo recoiled back as he tried to push the spout away from his face. Finally managing to fix the button, the water stopped spraying at him but left Milo soaked.
Just as he thought it was okay to step away, the water forced a huge wave onto him. Milo fell backwards, crying out a little bit as you, Zack and Melissa watched. You felt a little bad for him but then again, these types of things always happened to him and he never seemed too bothered about them.
"No problem, I got a dry change of clothes in my locker-" Milo brushed off as he tried to stand up. He attempted to walk to his locker but ended up slipping in the process.
You giggled at his clumbsiness and a slightly embarrassed Milo began to walk away.
"See you in a bit!"
Once he was further away so he couldn't hear you guys, Melissa spoke up.
"So, tomorrow is Milo's birthday."
"Already got his gift!" You bragged.
"How did you get him a gift so fast?" She asked you.
You scoffed. "When it comes to my friends, I plan ahead."
