Chapter 1: School Dance: Part 1

Anna's' POV

I sat on my bed listening to music while doodling in my sketchbook. Today's a freeday at the school so we can do pretty much whatever we want. I was halfway through the song Hand On My Heart by Olly Murs when I saw Penelope start to spaz out on her bed dropping her phone. I pull my headphones out and look at her raising an eyebrow, a small smile finding a way into my lips. She spazed out for a couple minutes while squealing much to my amusement. Once she stopped she looked at me and smiled innocently.

"What ya up to?" I ask a smile still in my face.

"Oh you know the usual, just chilling." She says shrugging pushing her blond hair behind her ear.

"What was that," I say wiggling me finger around her bed where she was just spazzing, "all about?" I ask.

"Oh! That! Harry and Tessa are so cute omg and like ahhh!" She squealed once more putting her face into her pillow. I just roll my eyes and put my earphones back into my ears going back to my doodles.

A couple girls in the cafeteria had been obsessing over some one direction fan fiction called After and they asked if we had read it. We said no, we really don't read fan fiction kinda weird to read it about your brother... Anyway when we said no they felt they had to explain the storyline and Penelope decided to read it. Aparently it's becoming actual books and a movie or something I don't know.

A few minutes later I felt something hit my arm. I look over at my blond friend who motioning for me to take my earphones outta my ears. I pull them out and say "Yes?"

"I was just thinking"

"Uh oh." I cut her off laughing and she glares at me.

"Shut up! Anyway I was thinking we could redo our room maybe." She says and I look around. It is getting kinda old.

The walls are a lilac color with a strip of black where it meets the floor and stripe where it meets the ceiling. Then we had posters hanging up everywhere. We both had a few of One Direction posters on our sides then I had ones with 5 Seconds of Summer, Cher Lloyd, Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato, Little Mix, and Fault In Our Stars. Penelope had ones of Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez, and one just full of quotes. She had some of her family before they passed away, but I can't really put any family pictures up incase someone came in and saw them putting together the peices.

Then we each had a twin bed across from each other, two desks, two dressers, and two closets. The frames, headboard, and footboard on the beds were white, the desks were white, the dressers were white, and the closet doors where white. Then the floor was a dark brown hardwood. To be honest the room did look a little boring.

"Yeah I guess we could." I say nodding and she smiled clapping her hands pulling out her laptop, probably to look for ideas.

I put my headphones in and doodled for a few more minutes, before putting it away and getting out my own laptop. I log into my email and see a

It seems like this year it is going to  be longer and more songs will be played different dances and ooh a talent show. I'm so doing that ,this year sounds eve more fun i need to call Harry.
