stop. we have to talk...

HI GUYS. 

First of all, 

As you've noticed, I've basically unpublished all of this book for an important reason. You guys should probably go ahead and read book 1.5. (Yes, it's a novella and yes, it's important. And no, you don't have to read it but you probably should as it introduces some new characters that you'll meet in book 2, also a glimpse into the lives of our elite before the events of book 2. aka before their official reunion). 

so, while i'm in the process of writing book 1.5, which is officially titled After Beaumont, please forgive me for un-publishing this and being a terrible author in general. I'm terrible at planning, and I know I put you guys through hell, especially waiting for this story and all. But while I do have the motivation and time during this quarantine, I'm doing my best to work this out and plan this entire thing, ergo the slight changes (which I'm incredibly sorry for), and book 1.5. 

i'm thankful for your support, and i hope you guys like the changes because they do make the story better. 

Secondly,

after careful thought, I actually have changed my original plan for the ending on Book 2 (which you guys aren'y aware of, obviously haha!). Which is why I've had to add Book 1.5 because (insert evil laugh), it's not the ending you're expecting. 

You all (or those who have been with me since the beginning) know that I'm a heart breaker and if I see it fit, I'm going to break hearts. (Also, I'm a sucker for sad endings, or at least different endings). If this isn't a warning enough, then don't get your hopes up! 

Thirdly, 

just for further elaborate point 2: and fair warning: the pairings possibly won't end up together. 

I won't spoil any more. But just know this, as much as I like happy endings, after careful consideration, especially after the events and consequences of book 1 and 2, is it realistic or even just proper to put two people together even if they're beyond repair or are past the point of no return? 

as much as these books are cliché, i'd still (or hopefully) like to include some aspects of reality. And I've talked this through with my older friends (and cousin) and their relationship experiences, and they think the same as I do. 

i'm justifying, aren't i?

authors shouldn't have to justify their choices, but i'm a terrible author and i'm still learning so i do hope you guys understand that i'm a heartbreaker, and i do hope you still read it, regardless. 

Finally, 

Book 1.5 will be up soon. It will introduce new characters, and I just hope you guys will like it. I thank you for your patience and I'm sorry to do this so many times, over and over again. I'm entirely grateful for your support.
