Brandon eventually falls back asleep on Drake chest contently. RINGGGG! The sound of a phone blaring through the house.
"It's dad", mumbled Brandon answering his phone. Our dad looks at us and immediately notices our demeanour and frowns at how glum we look.
"You alright boys and where's Brandon?" Dad questions.
"Yeah we're okay and Brandon's right their" Duston says nodding his head towards Drake's chest, "
"Dad we really need to tell you something..." Drake says sighing
"Sure guys what's up?" their dad replies calmly
"B-Brandon's been well slicing his wrists and their are a couple of marks so we just wanted to tell you.." Duston gloomily and worriedly says.
"Fuck. Does he need a therapist or anything?" Our dad immediately replies with a concerned gaze through the phone.
"Dad it's okay we've got it all under control. Everything's gonna be fine" Drake assures
"If you boys says so. Tell him I love him so so much and I would do anything for him and that I'm so sorry I can't be there right now with you guys. Sorry I have to go. Take good care of my baby boy" dad says before rushing and cutting the call.
Drake gives a tired sigh and mumbles to Duston "We're gonna have to make some rules and he should pro.bably take some time of school." Duston instantly agrees and at that moment Brandon wakes up rubbing his eyes. He shyly looks up at Duston before laying his head back into Duston's chest.
"Baby boy we're gonna have to have some rules" Drake harshly blurted. At that Brandon tensed and Drake's heart softened.
"Bud don't be scared. We're gonna be here for you all the time and this is just to keep you safe and healthy". Duston says with the softest voice he's ever used surprising himself. He gently rubs Brandon's back and can feel him instantly relax at touch and continues the soothing motion.
"Okay so first if you ever and I mean ever feel like doing something like harming yourself come talk to me or Duston or give us a call. I mean anywhere and anytime.
