Some legends are told. Some turn to dust or to gold, but you will remember me. Remember me for centu-

I turned of my alarm, put my glasses on, and rolled out of bed. Today is Monday and I was not in the mood to deal with anything at the moment. I decided on skinny jeans, my volleyball sweatshirt, and my pair of Uggs. For hair and makeup, I put my hair in a loose ponytail and no makeup. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and put my contacts. My normal Monday morning luck began. My eyes became irritated when I put in my contacts in, so I had to wear my glasses today.

When I had finished getting ready, I grabbed my book bag, and walked outside to my car in the drive way. I walked around to the drivers side and heard a door open. I looked at my neighbors door and out walked a familiar tall, blonde boy. "Hey butt face!" I yell to him. He turned to me and smiled.

"Hi Aly bear." He said, calling me the nickname my family calls me.

I rolled my eyes. "I told you not to call me that." I said as he walked over to me. He was the only one who knows my family calls me that. You learn a few things about people when you're best friends for thirteen years.

He had walked over to me now and wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me tightly. I responded by wrapping my arms around his neck. "Hi Lukey Pookey." I laughed silently.

Lukey Pookey, better know as Luke Hemmings, had been my best friend for as long as I can remember. The summer before I started preschool, I moved to Sydney. A family, that consisted of a mom, dad, and three boys, introduced themselves as our next door neighbors. My older brother, Dylan, had hit it off right away with the older two boys, Ben and Jack. They had went to my brother's new room to play video games. That left me with my mom, my dad, the neighbors whose names were Andrew, Liz, and the youngest boy, Luke. Once our parents found out we were the same age, my mom sent us to go play in my room. I could tell he wasn't excited, expecting to see a Barbie wonderland in my room, but when we got to my room he was pleasantly surprised by my Power Ranger, Pokemon, and superhero collection. I remember his face to this day, a mix surprise, relief, and a little confusion. From that moment on we were inseparable until high school. For some reason we grew apart and I'm still trying to figure out why. It's a shame really.

"How've you been? It feels like forever sense we've hung out." He was right. It had been around a month sense we hang out, and even then it was just us talking for around ten minutes.

The hug had now ended. "Let me give you a ride to school and I'll tell you." We smiled and both of us got in the car. As I backed out of my drive way, the two of us filled each other in on our lives. I told him about being captain of the varsity volleyball team and how I've been dating Spencer, captain of the football team. He told me he's now friends with Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin and they are in a band together. He had always wanted to be in a band. We used to put on concerts for our families when we were little. Of course, they were horrible as neither of us had learned guitar yet.

Unfortunately we had got to school, which meant we had to part our ways. I pulled up to an empty parking spot and parked. "Meet me here after school? I'll give you a ride home." I offer.

He smiled and nodded as we got out the car. We waved goodbye before walking to our destinations. I met Spencer at my locker as usual and we had walked to first period together.

The final bell rang and Spencer had met me at my locker as per usual and walked me to my car. Luke was waiting there with Calum. I introduced Luke and Spencer, as I knew Calum and Spencer knew him from football. "Calum's coming over to my house so can he just ride with us?"

"Of course." I said with a smile. I kissed Spencer goodbye and Luke, Calum, and I got in my car. On the way to my house we all just talked about our day and started catching up on more things. I pulled into my drive way and the three of us got out of the car. "Aly, you should come over." Luke suggested.

I smiled. It had been ages sense we have done things together and I missed it more than anything. I was finally getting my best friend back. "Yeah I will, just let me tell my mom." I ran inside, told her, then ran back out to the boys.

The three of us walked into Luke's house and were greeted by Liz. "Hello boys," she began before she noticed me. "Aly! You haven't been here in ages. How are you, sweetie?"

"I'm wonderful, and you?" I responded with a smile. I turned to Luke to see he was smiling at me.

"I'm great, thank you." Liz returned the smile.

Luke interrupted, "Let's go downstairs guys." Calum and I followed him down to his bedroom. Cal sat on the chair and Luke and I sat on his bed with our backs against the wall. "I think my mom missed you, Alyssa Rose." Luke said, nudging my leg with his hand.

I glared at him. "You know how I feel about my full name."

He chuckled. "Sorry Aly Bear."

Calum joined in on the teasing. "Aly Bear?"

I turned my glare to him and point a finger. "You call me that in public, you die."

He raised his hands and shook his head. Luke laughed, "We should do our homework." He said.

I sighed, "We should, but I don't want to." We laughed.

He grabbed my book bag and handed it to me. I took it and got my homework out and began working on it. A few minutes later Mrs.Hemmings came downstairs. "Luke, your dad and I are going to dinner. There is money on the counter for you kids to get a pizza." Luke nodded. She came in and kissed Luke's forehead. "Bye Hun, love ya."

"Love you too." Luke said, looking a little embarrassed.

Mrs.Hemmings left, waving goodbye to us. I whispered to Luke, "Love ya Hun." and winked at him. He just rolled his eyes at me.

About a half an hour later, I finished my homework but Luke and Calum were still doing their's. I started feeling tired so I laid my head on Luke shoulder and drifted off to sleep.
