I've been hoping somebody loves you in the ways I couldn't.

"Lia wake up!! It's school.." Yeji groaned stressfully.

"Oh my gosh i cant with this kid-"

Yeji went out of Lia's room, and took a bucket and filled it up with water.

"I'm sorry, Choi.." she giggled before pouring the water on top of Lia's head.

Lia's eyes shot open as she stood up immediately.

"FUCK YOU, HWANG!! IF I DROWNED YOU ARE PAYING MY HOSPITAL EXPENSES!!" Lia yelled.

Yeji snorted sarcastically, "Pffttt.. Not like i pay for all your bills and expenses already."

In that instant, Lia felt bad.

That's true. Yeji payed for everything. All her living expenses.

Although Lia insisted to get a job to pay for her own expenses, Yeji insisted that everything is good, and Lia has already been through a lot, and there is no need for her to have more weight on her shoulders . (Get a friend like Yeji, yall!!)

Lia is so grateful for Yeji. The only thing that Yeji doesn't have to pay for is her school bills.

You see, Lia is a smart kid and got a Scholarship for free education.

At least that's the least she can do to take her weight off of Yeji's shoulders.

Seeing the sorry look on Lia's face, Yeji immediately changed the topic, "No No No!! I don't mean it like that! Please don't cry.. Come down I made you your favorite!"

Yeji smiled before heading down, but was stopped by Lia.

"Yeji-sshi.."

Yeji looked back at her with confused eyes.

"Thank you.."

"For what? Why so sudden?" Yeji asked, confused.

"For everything.."

"Lia, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Yeji asked, even more confused.

"I'm okay.. I'm okay! Let's just eat!"

Yeji looked so confused. Why was Lia thanking her? And why is it so sudden? But shrugged it off.

"Lia! I suggest you shower first before you get sick!" Yeji chuckled, pointing unto Lia's wet clothes.

Lia smiled, "You're right.."

"EONNIIII!!!" A screeching yell can be heard across the school hallway.

Yes it was the one and only, Shin Yuna.

It was her first day of high school, and she was excited to pick majors.

"Someone's happy!" Another voice said.

Lee Chaeryeong. The smartest girl in the grade and the only one of the five that took extended maths. She Won 9 gold medals in math and science olympics throughout her middle school and high school life.

Even Lia is smart, but struggle to beat Chaeryeong's grades. That kid is pretty much unbeatable. The only person head to head with her is Kang Taehyun. But let's not get into that.

"I can't wait!!" Yuna said cheerfully.
