A large flash happens and it starts to dissipate after a second, when it goes completely the three of us are standing in a large clearing I look around and and see Vlad, Otis, Thomas, Abraham, Em, Joss, and the goons around the clearing everything was about to go down Otis takes care of the goon holding him so does Vlad while that happens I turn to the man and ask "so how does this work who are we to them, just random vampires?"
"Well my boy that depends on who knows the book well if anyone the better you know it the more important your role in the book"
That's great I know this whole series like the back of my hand, so what does that make me? " hey guys what do you think I am?"
"Well you've read this book hundreds of times, so you must be god in this book" Andy says
"Hahaha very funny, but seriously what do you think?"
"I have no idea man, you could be anyone" Andy says
"Boys I believe we have company coming" the man says (I should really learn his name) then I hear a whoosh of air next to me, I turn and see Vlad
"Hello brother what are you doing over here?" Vlad says
I stare at him like an idiot, could it really be? Could I be a second pravus? "Um I'm just talking to them" I gesture towards Andy and the other guy
"I'm gonna go find joss do you want to come with me?" Vlad asks
I look to the man for an answer, he slightly nods "yeah sure man which way did he go?" I ask, he points over into the woods that lead back to town
"Let's go" he says he vanishes with vampiric speed I take off after him we stop in town near a group of slayers, that was my first time using vampiric speed so my stopping skills weren't great I stopped and my momentum sent me flying forward into the crowd of slayers, I look up at them and say "hey guys, how's it going?" They all take out there stakes, I see a blurs coming towards us they stop next to Vlad
"I believe you boys left without us" the man in purple says with Otis standing next to him, the slayers start to make a circle around us
"Vlad I know you don't like killing but in this situation you're going to have to put that aside can you do that?" Before he answers he uses his speed to snap all the slayers neck's
"Wow that was frighteningly awesome" he holds out his hand, I take it and he pulls me up "thanks"
"No problem" I turn to the man in the people suit "where did you leave Andy?" I ask
"I left him with this young man's drudge" he points to Vlad, the book didn't mention where henry went until a couple chapters later, but he shows up alive so I'll just assume Andy is alright
"Well thanks for taking care of him, Mr. Uh..."
"Its Mr Crall, and you are welcome Mr Cooke" I'm shocked for a second how could he know my name? I don't even remember telling him my first name, I don't show this on my face though, he may have been telling the truth about these powers but I still don't trust him
"We were looking for joss do you guys want to come with us?" Vlad asks them, but they take a look at the chaos going on around vampires, slayers, and humans alike all fighting each other
"No we better help these humans out they may be holding their own now but these are vampires and trained slayers they're fighting" they run off in a blur to the nearest fight going on
"Cmon let's go this way" Vlad says and points towards the school he runs off and I go after him.
