"I like Kenny. He's a good guy, perfect for you. You deserve a good man in your life after what that jackass did to you, making you raise Mason all by yourself." Ivan scolded nodding his head towards Mason.

"What is a jackass?"

"It's a plant!" Toni quickly responded.

Mason nodded.

"Dad, can you not." Toni said, "bath time!" Toni clapped.

"Dang it..." Mason groaned slouching.

"Kenny is the man you need in your life." Ivan said placing their leftovers into the refrigerator.

"But mom said Kenny already has a wife." Mason chirped in.

Ivan frowned facing Toni. Toni groaned facing Mason.

"Bathroom now." She pointed towards the bathroom.

He sighed slouching towards it as she followed soon after him.

Kenny walked into his bedroom tossing his jacket down on the sofa. Zoey sat in bed reading a novel, she saw him and immediately removed her glasses and set them down along with the novel onto her nightstand.

"Hello to you too." Zoey said.

"Hi Zoey. Please I'm not in the mood for any arguments right now-"

"I'm not arguing with you. How was your dinner with Toni?" She asked.

"It was good it went well." He said under one breathe nonchalantly.

Zoey nodded as she watched him.

"I didn't know that your lawyer would stop by the house today while you were out with her. You're filing for divorce? Why have we never spoken of this? What did I do?"

"No! It's what you didn't do." Kenny spat pointing his finger at her.

She frowned.

"It's because you want to be with her isn't it..."

"Who? Her who?" Kenny protested.

"I'm not stupid! Today when I spoke to her about you she couldn't help but defend your stupid ass!" Zoey groaned getting out of bed.

Kenny shook his head.

"Why did you go to the office?" Kenny asked.

"Don't change the subject." Zoey spat.

He sighed. He ran his hand down his face.

"Yes." He said.

Her eyes widened.

"Yes what?"

"Yes. You're so damn right, it's because I want to be with her and also because I'm tired of being in a marriage where all we both do is fight. All we ever do is argue and point fingers!" Kenny spoke with his voice raised.
