Jasmines POV

A kick to my shin jolts me awake, "What the fudge Josie!"

She rolls her eyes, "We're here."

John -I think that's his name- is unlocking my handcuffs and cuffing us to him, my boots sludge in the mud of Texas.  Why isn't there any grass?

The boys lead us as our escorts. The car left us at the gate and when Mark puts in a code the gates open leading us to the actual doors, when we walk in a lady and man are there ready to introduce themselves.

The man steps forward and introduces them, "Welcome to St. Paul, your home until it's not. I am your headmaster and this is the assistant headmaster. Come into our office ad we will give you your schedules and room."

Jack leads us forward towards their office.

"This room sucks."

I nod, "Sure."

The room is small but big enough to fit two twin beds, two dressers and nightstand next to each bed. The beds have white sheets and a white comforter, with two white pillows on each bed. The windows have no blinds letting in bright rays of light. I knew this would happen so I brought black blankets. While Josie is putting all her clothes into her dresser I cover the windows with the blankets with the help of some ducktape and pushpins.

I stuff my clothes into my drawers not bothering to fold them in neatly like Josephine. After an hour we have completely set up our room.

"Something is missing," Josie says grinning like a cat. She digs into her suitcase and takes out bottles of spraypaint then looks at the empty walls in our room.

I chuckle and catch the cans she passes to me. Taking off the cap I make just draw. Or well, paint in this case. After another hour it looks like the streets of Chicago. Home sweet home.

I am in the middle of taking a nap when someone knocks the door. I groan and head to open the door because Josephine is in the bathroom. I open the door, "Yes?" I ask barely opening the mu eyes to see who it is.

I leave the door open and walk back to my bed laying on it. Whoever was at the door knocks again and clears their throat. I open my eyes and look at them while they look at me noticing how they purposely try not to look anywhere except my face. Then I realize I'm only wearing a sports bra and sweats.

I feel my face going warm, "Sorry, I forgot." I look through my drawers and find a large sweatshirt.

"So uh... what are you here for?" I ask.

"Headmaster told me to get you two for dinner," His soft deep voice forces me to look up to him. He has the most beautiful emerald eyes, shiny curly hair, thick pink lips, his rich dark skin only added to his perfection.

"Okay. Thanks." I nod, "Can you stay here for a few minutes so I can get my sister then you can lead us. I have no idea where the cafeteria is."

"Yeah of course," He stands awkwardly at the door and I smile.

"You can come in and sit on my bed." He blushes, his ears turning red.

I put the sweatshirt in my hand on the dresser and walk to the bathroom finding Josephine putting on eyeliner.

"You know we are just going to get dinner downstairs,"

"I know. But maybe a hot guy will be down there."

I scoff and shake my head. "Hurry up, there is a guy that I have called dibs on. He is waiting to take us to the cafeteria."

When she hears hot guy she puts a cap on her makeup only putting on some last-minute lipgloss then coming out to put on some pants.

I walk out of the bathroom after putting on some mascara and chapstick then walking back to the guy. I just realized I didn't even tell him my name.

When I walk out he's on his phone. Me and Josie are ready so I tap his shoulder and when he looks up he is in shock. I think. "I am Jasmine. This is Josephine." I say.

"I'm Tanner." He replies, "Let's go to dinner."

He shows us how to get to the cafeteria the fastest and when we walk in all eyes are on us. My face is warming us fast from all the eyes. Then I hear what Josephine is telling me. Through the chip, obviously.

Head up. Don't look anyone in the eyes, and skip over their faces. We have to put on the we are insane look.

I love this look. They always cower and avoid us. All right. Let's go. I feel cold air hit my stomach and I realize something tragic. Horrible. Disasterous.

I forgot to put on my sweatshirt.
