All I could make up from what they were saying to each other was a piece of good luck at the end to each other, and then they quickly hurried wen their separate ways. The man, however, had looked back into the hallway, where I was sitting in before he had walked off in his general direction.

Who are they, and why was that lady spying on me, and how long was she there before I had noticed her?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once this strange-looking man had walked away from the area, I slowly crouch my way to the other end, peaking around both of the sides, making sure that either of them was still there.

Thankfully, they both have gone completely, and went their separate ways, without having too much of a commotion. I need to ask someone if they might know who they are at all.

When I stood up and made my way back out of the alleyway I was just in, I saw dad walk back into the house with some sort of alcohol in his hand, and with some sort of stern look on his face, as he could murder someone right there and then.

I quickly hurried my way back into the house, to be greeted by a groaning Arthur, slouching in his chair, clutching his fists until they were whiter than snow, with a mixture of both dry and wet blood all over his forehead. Whatever has happened, he is sure to gain a good couple of bruises out of this.

"Drink this Arthur" dad said, after he pours some of it onto his wounds on his head, he handed the bottle to him, and gulped it done hastily.

I cringe at the moment, as I just stood next to the front door, not knowing what to make of the moment, and what's unfolding in front of my young innocent eyes.

Ada looked over towards me, and rushed by my side, placing a hand on my right shoulder, as she stands on my left side. She guided me into the betting shop, so I was out for most of the commotion.

"Ada, I don't know if this might be anything to do with it, but I saw a rather young lady, and an older guy, I believe, when I was out today. They were spying on me, and when I had noticed the female, she ran back to him, and all I could hear from them was them saying good luck to each other. Which quite frankly, was weird" I told her, not know how to take that. Knowing that someone was looking in, and not knowing what any of their attempts were going to be if I didn't notice her any time later.

"It'll be alright love. If it ever happens again, you come running to me alright. Despite what you're father may say about it." she firmly said, looking me dead in the eye.

"What's going on with him, eh, Pol?"

I heard Aruther say, which caught my attention to look back over, to see both Pol and Tommy making some sort of glance to each other. Like they both knew what had just happened, and why Aruther is in the situation that his in.

" If I knew, I'd buy the cure from Compton's chemist," Pol said, whilst still looking over at Tommy.

Whatever was said next in that room, I wasn't listening to what they were saying, as I'm now getting quite sleepy. Ada, again, guided me up to my room and told me to go straight to bed once I was finished cleaning myself up, and gotten changed once again.

---------------------------------------------------- The next day ----------------------------------------------------------

I work up abruptly, with some loud shouting downstairs. I started to stir in myself, whilst all of the commotions is going on beneath my room, between both Pol and dad. Who knows what it's about this time around and what actually started this one. As it soon to grow on me, i laid facing upwards, looking towards the plain white ceiling.

After a while, I decided to get out of bed, once I'm sure that those two had finished, and I was comfortable with getting out of bed, to do my usual washing routine.

Once I've finally finished, after taking my time in the bathroom, I made my  way back into my room, and got into the itchy grey school clothes, and then dumping my pajamas onto my bed.

"Morning sweetie" Pol had said, as I walked down the stairs slowly, with a slight fazed looked across my face, as its still quick early on in the day.

Looking around the room, I had noticed that dad wasn't in the room when I had came down, but Pol does seem to be a little zoned out about something. But I shan't push her, not  yet anyhow.

I smiled up at her, whilst grabbing my bag, and placed it next to me whilst I sit down at the table, pulling out some homework that the teacher had gave us yesterday. I'm sure that I would be able to do it quickly.

Finally finishing the homework that I had been given, Pol had placed my breakfast in front of me, ready for me too eat when I'm ready. Looking up, I didn't realise that both Finn and Dad sat at the table.

I wonder when he got here, I don't remember hearing the door open up, nor did I hear heavy footsteps coming down the stairs. I strugged it off, and placed my homework back into my bag, and started to eat the breakfast I was given.

Both Pol and dad gave each other a stern look. Both knowing clearly what it meant, but neither me or Finn knows what's going on. I don't believe that John nor Arthur will know what is going on. I might ask dad later on today, if I could go to Charlie's tomorrow by myself after school.

I would ask Pol, but I know for sure that she wouldn't be telling me anything about what's going on between the two. It might have something to so with this so called gang that they're all in,and if it is, then she would shield it from me from not telling me about it.

She'll probably hush me and go onto another topic, and not telling me anything on the matter, which is kinda annoying. I want to know what is going on. This is honestly the most that's ever happened to me in my whole life.

I need to know what's going on, and I'm hoping that Charlie will be able to tell me something, or if he does anything that I might not know. I got a feeling that he does know something.
