Chapter 5: Different Shades

Alexander gesture for Catalia to come in and she did. Been the gentleman he is, he went and got a robe for her.
Catalia wrap the robe around her and mumbled "God it smells like him".
Alexander replied and said. "What was that"
Catalia just realized she said that out loud and quickly shouted "NOTHING".
Alexander Chuckled.
Zander pour out two glasses of wine and handed one to Catalia, after sitting down he said.
"So what brought you so late to my humble abode."
Catalia replied, "Am not good at apologies, but I
wanted to say am sorry for my reaction earlier , just had a horrible day, again am sorry."
Alexander replied, " that's ok, you want to talk about it?"
Catalia shook her head and Alexander didn't force it.

After a moment of silent, Alexander ask Catalia how long she will be staying at the hotel and she told him "I don't know really, sorting out some stuff, just moved back after 3 years."
Zander said "Ok!"
However been a curiosity got the best of him and he said soooo " how old are you?"
"I am twenty years old"
"Wow and drive a Ashton Martin, I guess daddy spoils his little girl"
Catalia got annoyed and furious and replied. " For your information, I am not daddy little girl and you didn't know but my mom passed 3 years ago, and since you know a lot about me, you should know your sitting with a billionaire good night and stormed out his room slamming the door.

Alexander sat on the sofa telling him self that things were going so well and he messed it with her, the one time they were having a convo without any snarky comment or insult and he ruined it.
Alexander couldn't sleep after finishing the wine and half bottle of whisky so he decided to call JP.
JP picked up. "This has to be a life and death situation for you to be calling me at 3am in the morning friend"
Zander replied " JP I mess up man, things were ok and I had to open my smart mouth."
JP was so confused, thinking what could be possible be talking about, but he knew it had to be something important because NEVER take blame for anything. So he asked "What are you talking about man? Are you junk?"
Zander replied " No am not junk and am talking about Catalia, man"
JP started laughing like a lunatic " I knew you liked her, I knew it"
Shut up! Man I don't like her, I just hate him am the reason for someone been upset or feel down."
Your Alexander Fernandez, you make people upset everyday your a ruthless business and a dangerous enemy to have and for feeling down you do that that to people with without even saying a word sometimes. So cut the bulls and tell me what you did?"
Alexander explained what happen to JP from the moment he opened the door to the moment she slammed it shut. JP advised him to give it a day or so and apologize for been a jerk.
Zander said "Thanks man for the advise"
Your welcome, been new to this love thing you get a pass" JP said while laughing.
Zander hang up without even a goodbye or night.
With that in mind, he practiced his apology a few times before he fell asleep dreading the outcome of tomorrow encounter with the enchanted Catalia Pedro.

Catalia got back to her suite, drop in the bed and hold the robe tight nuzzling into it. The scent calmed her, realization hit that it's Alexander robe and she quickly took it off and through it on the floor.
Catalia was more hurt than upset at what he said.
When her mom and dad separated it was hard for her, he was there financial but emotionally he wasn't. He found a new home, new family like nothing happened. A call ever few months to find out if she needs anything then back to his picture prefect family.
But after looking into it what he wasn't completely wrong a combination of daddy and mommy money bought the car and she can't blame him, everyone is usually shocked when they learn her age and saw her car. Catalia usually doesn't explain herself to anyone, but she felt the need to explain herself to Mr. Arrogant.
Catalia checked the time and it 3am she been up thinking for hours can't sleep a wink.
Suddenly her eyes spot the robe on the floor she forgot she threw it down, knowing how his scent of vanilla calmed her she took the robe up put it on and in minutes she felt her keys battered and she was off to sleep dreading the encounter with Olympus most Sexy Alexander Fernandez.
